A Secret That Is Often Overlooked…

Post 226 of 250

I want to share a secret with you that is often overlooked in Think and Grow Rich.  For those of you who are willing to grasp its power and actually apply it, you can prepare the way for your Personal Fortune to arrive in your lives on warp speed.

Take a second to think about these direct quotes from Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich:

“You may as well know, right here, that you can never have riches in great quantities unless you can work yourself into a white heat of desire for money, and actually believe you will possess it.”

“A burning desire to be and to do is the starting point from which the dreamer must take off.  Dreams are not born of indifference, laziness, or lack of ambition.”

Remember that all who succeed in life get off to a bad start, and pass through many heartbreaking struggles before “they arrive.”

“The turning point in the lives of those who succeed usually comes at the moment of some crisis through which they are introduced to their ‘other’ selves.”

“When Opportunity came it appeared in a different direction than he had expected.  That is one of the tricks of opportunity.  It has the sly habit of slipping in by the back door, and often it is disguised in the form of misfortune or temporary defeat.  Perhaps this is why so many people fail to recognize opportunity.”

“Every person who wins in any undertaking must be willing to burn his ships and cut all sources of retreat.  Only by doing so can one be sure of maintaining that state of mind known as a burning desire to win, essential to success.”

I have just shared a formula with you used by all people who that want to accomplish the greatness within themselves.  There are no shortcuts, period.  The universe will always send you what you need, but not always what you think you need and it your responsibility to know the difference. Many people go to their graves waiting for their big break.  But only those who can accept what the universe gives them as the next step make any progress at all.

This is so true.
I’ve experienced that every step that you take matters, though they might seem insignificant at the time. Every step is as important as one another.
Furthermore, each and every one of them plays a part in bringing you clarity, growth, awareness and the receiving of your goal.
I personally believe that it is important to you record these changes, studying them helps you to understand why these steps are necessary.
An opportunity does’t necessarily have to be huge, it can be as simple as saying a kind word to someone you dislike, if your goal is to receive respect from others.
Life is so amazing and wonderful when you do things the Certain Way.
Thank you for all the inspiration you give to us David.

Enjoy life,

Yveline

Thank you, David, for this entry. Especially in these times, your message powerfully resonates. I keep getting the feeling that in moments like now when the market is fluctuating and people are in a state of fear about loss of job, pension, and security, it seems to be heralding something bigger going on… as you would say… an opportunity… Of course we become so attached to our expectations, it’s difficult to maintain faith and see the peril before us as opportunity dawning.

Perhaps that is what is happening on a much bigger world scale. Those of us who see these times as an opportunity are meant to act as seeds of light helping the change, holding the vision, and trailblazing toward the new dawn — which hopefully others will, in turn, follow.

Thanks for the insights, David!
