P.S. Are you wondering what it means to be a VIP client of mine? If you’ve ever wondered what coaching with me looks like (and what the options are for personal mentorship with me directly), contact my Team to set up a call to discuss at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How to Get to Love:
I told you last time that if you allowed Universal love and beauty to transform your perception, they would transform your life and business as well.
That sounds great, doesn’t it?
But what do you do if love seems far away? If your business is struggling or you’re feeling pain or despair? How do you get to love? These 7 action steps can help.
Step 1: Remove judgment from your life.
This is the key to embracing love. We can’t hold a judging thought and simultaneously be connected to divine love. Judgment of others blocks that channel.
Often we’re not even aware that we’re making judgments, but we do it all the time. We walk around thinking, “This is bad,” “His hair’s too long,” “That was stupid.”
In order to stop doing that, we must first become aware that we are.
Try this: for the next couple of days, jot down what you think about the things you observe. Say you see a dog or a guy walking down the street or a woman sitting on a park bench. What is the dialogue you’re actually having with yourself about them?
You’ll likely find that you’re making judgments constantly.
Step 2: Look for the good.
Once you become aware of your judging thoughts, don’t judge yourself for having them! Just try to quiet them down. Do that by consciously looking for the good in everything you encounter. Look at that person or the weather or even something bad happening in someone’s life as the perfect emanation of the Divine.
Step 3: Stop doing what you don’t love.
Make a list of three things you don’t love to do and decide to stop doing them.
If those things really need to be done, you can find someone else to do them.
But before you even think about that, first make the decision to stop.
Step 4: Find people who love to do what you don’t and empower them to do a great job.
Someone out there loves to do those things you don’t enjoy.
Remember my lawn-mowing story? When I decided to stop mowing my lawn, a young man was able to put himself through college.
Step 5: Surround yourself with beautiful things.
Gazing at your office, your house, your car, your clothes should bring a smile to your face. Make them as beautiful and opulent as you can afford.
When you splurge on yourself, when you treat yourself like a king or queen, you put yourself in harmony with the Divine.
You put yourself in resonance with love.
Step 6. Accept yourself just as you are.
Don’t be self-critical or deny who you really are or what you really want. You are beautiful and worthy just as you are.
Step 7. Express love.
Call five friends once a week and tell them that you love them just for who they are ~ and ask them to do the same for you.
Become a conduit for love.
As you pass people on the street, silently send them love. When you see someone who is angry, send them love. When you see a homeless person, send them love. Send the crying child love, the mentally ill love. Send love to people everywhere you go.
As you are a blessing to others, people will be a blessing to you.
Bushel baskets of love will begin to fill your life.
Your whole business will be elevated. You’ll be operating in Divine resonance.
Will that impact your sales? You bet it will.
When you operate from a place of love, there’s no limit to what you can achieve.
