Gravity doesn’t need your approval…

Post 189 of 254

This week’s question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from Amanda.

Question:

Hi David. I’m not sure this is a question or more of a statement, but here goes…
I’ve been stuck for a really long time. It seems that every time I try something, I don’t get results. It’s becoming very hard to believe in The Laws, when I’m continually NOT getting what I “desire”.
Can you help?

Answer:

Thanks for your honesty, Amanda.

First I want to point out that whether you believe in The Laws or not, they are at work 100% of the time.

Just like gravity.

Gravity doesn’t really care if you believe in it or not, but if you step off a roof, you’re going to hit the ground. The Laws are the same.

You are manifesting every second of every day whether you realize it or not.

And just so I’m clear, manifesting is becoming aware of what is already here.

Second, I want to point out that you ARE getting results. They may not be the results that you want or expect, but they are results nonetheless.

So my question is two fold…

What are you doing with the results that you are getting? Those results are a gift because they are giving you direction, they are telling you what you need to be doing differently.

My hunch is that if you got right down to it, you know what you should be doing differently, but you’re resisting it because of fear.

Take some time and be honest with yourself. Sit quietly and really THINK.

WHAT ARE YOU RESISTING?

The Universe isn’t going to give you the next step, if you haven’t completed the one that’s right in front of you.

You MUST do what you fear doing.

The second part of my question is this…

Are you studying? Are you looking for direction and inner knowledge?

To this day I study. My books go with me wherever I go, and if you look at my most successful students, you will see that they too study.

To allow the Laws to work with you, you must understand them. Not just know they exist. You must experience them and really understand the truth in them.

I recommend Raymond Holliwell’s, Working With The Law. Start small, read paragraphs over, let it really sink in, and then begin to see where The Laws are working in everything you see.

Thanks for recommending Holliwell’s “Working with the Law.” I’m really getting a lot out of it. Good book. Very clear!

You are welcome MaryJo! It is one of my favorite books and I am glad that you are getting exactly what you need from it. I would love to hear more about your journey into Holliwell’s text…

Thanks David for your simple, but powerful answer.
I completely agree with the part about inner knowledge. In fact, sometimes when I am really upset, I read some Personal Development books that I have read in the past. It helps me come to the present moment and as I am evolving every day, even though the contents are the same, the way I interpret seems to change, every time I read.

You’re welcome Lalitha. This is why I continually study from many of the same works because the situation and timing of things so often changes. Continue delving into these titles and you will get exactly what you want and the exact time you want it. I appreciate the post.

Hi Amanda. I used to do lots of different things and never succeeded at anything. Now I know that the reason was because I didn’t want to be doing any of those things, I was just doing them because other people told me I was supposed to do them. Maybe this isn’t your situation (what I mean is that maybe the things you are not succeeding at are things that you DO want to do), but I hope this helps.
