[New article] I’ve got the fever in the worst way …

Post 122 of 249
Dear friends,

Confession: I’ve got boat fever … big time!

I just spent 4 days over Memorial Day weekend on Smith Mountain Lake — one of the best Striper Fishing lakes on the East Coast — and had so much fun out on the water exploring, swimming, tubing, fishing … and especially window-shopping my next boat purchase.

I’m leaning towards a power sport cruiser in the 30- to 34-foot range … and I have to admit I’m pretty excited about it. You may have heard me tell the story of how — years ago — I sold my boat in order to attend my first Personal Development live seminar, with Tony Robbins. My life has been an incredible ride since … and I’ve not spent a single moment since thinking about owning a boat again — until now

And this next boat is going to be … well … slightly more luxurious than the last, to say the least (wink).

So, it’s a decision.

I’m in the market for a pleasure craft, and I can hardly wait to enjoy & celebrate this complete circle. I’m so very grateful for the growth & expansion that stepping up & into my purpose, and following faith, has allowed me. And so it is.

And isn’t it just perfect that the article below — that I’d prepared for you precisely for today — is titled: “The Power of Faith”.

Enjoy. Absorb. And most importantly: Step Up!

“Just Believe”,®

P.S. Are YOU one of the thousands of people who has told me how much you LOVE my 4-part “Art of Success” audio course?! Article #8 in my
“7 Mindset & Manifesting Secrets of Multimillionaire Entrepreneurs”
Series:

The Power of Faith

Pathways

In my last article, I started telling you about the third of seven secrets of multimillionaire entrepreneurs, and that is belief and faith in a higher power.

One of the most incredible books I’ve ever read is God Works Through Faith, by Robert Russell.

Russell writes that faith is the confidence that you have the power to do all things through God. You can solve any problem, remove any obstacle in your life. You can dominate every circumstance and open every door. That is 100% accurate.

How Faith Works
When I first started my business, I was working out of a makeshift office that used to be a bedroom. Things were tight sometimes; I’d have a little dip in business or would run out of leads.

At those times, I would stand up and with all the strength inside me and as loud as I could, I would shout, “Success is coming! It’s here now! It’s here every day! It’s showing up now! The calls and people are coming! The business and money are coming! I claim it as mine! It is here now!”

Without fail, either later that day or the next day, something would happen; out of the blue, the phone would ring with a solution.

Before you think that’s just me…several years ago, one of my clients had to leave the house and land that she loved, and was really grieving about it. One day, while crying on the porch of her home-office, that quiet voice inside said, Turn it.

Although she’d never done anything like this before, she turned her grief to faith and started shouting, “It’s all coming with me! The pond! The ducks! The sheep! The beautiful land! All of it! It’s all coming with me!” She shouted until she was spent.

Ten minutes later, the phone rang, and it was her future landlady to the ranch where she now lives, where there is not one pond but seven … not one acre, but dozens.

Claim Your Results
Do you know why we had those results? We had them because we claimed them.

Despite the absence of evidence, I knew 100% that success was mine. I was not going to be denied my success. And you know that I wasn’t.

Most people who start off in business struggle somewhat and are often worried about whether they are selling enough product or have enough clients to pay the bills.

When you master the concept of faith, a significant shift takes place within where you tap into a place of knowing. You know that you can manifest whatever you want and need.

From that knowing, you can move into a place of total service. When you do that and become a real blessing to humanity, it’s almost like the turbocharger on your car kicking in. You take off and skyrocket.

To grasp this, you have to expand your awareness. You need to think about, and really understand, your overall purpose as a spiritual being and why you are here.

As individuals, very often we identify with our kids, spouse, job, skill set, the problems we’ve had in the past or our perceived limitations, and we think we are those things.

We don’t realize what a special form of life we are.

We’re the highest form of life on the planet that we’re aware of. And we’re all creative, which means we’re here to create and serve.

That really is a divine purpose. You serve that first and foremost in your life, and everything else becomes secondary.

It does require that you step up.

But, remember, you don’t have to do that alone. When you step up and out with faith, Spirit is with you every step of the way. All you have to do is say, or shout, YES.

Hi David,

I have the Boating FEVER too! We bought a 24 ft Four Winns Frenzy bowrider that we absolutely LOVE!!! Having a new boat has made a huge difference in our summer fun. It has a wakeboard tower so we can take the kids skiing, tubing and wakeboarding. We also love to go to different restaurants on the lake or to our favorite island for a picnic. Have fun choosing your new boat!

David NeagleJune 3, 2011 at 4:06 pmReply

Thanks for the tip Stacey! I saw a few of those Four Winns boats on the lake last weekend and they look great. As long as I can fish off of it and drive fast this may be and option for me. Have a great summer on the water!

David,
Thank you for sharing from your soul. I’ve often felt slightly alone in the personal development world as someone who overtly leans on God in the presence of so much new age thought. It’s been refreshing to be a part of your community and I bless your work. Please keep it up!
Be your best,
PJ McClure

You’re welcome PJ! Just remember, you are never fully alone on this journey as we are always here to support you in whatever you may need. I appreciate your post.

Great article David… I live every day in faith. Sometimes I must remind myself, and my clients that God has bigger things planned for you than you might even imagine. He doesn’t think small, so we shouldn’t!

David NeagleJune 3, 2011 at 4:14 pmReply

Thinking small serves no one Sandra. Bigger things indeed. Keep me posted on your progress and thanks for the comment.

Hi David,
That article really resonated with me. I believe and know that everything you speak about in this article is correct. It is true and it does work. My main problem is that so many things come at me everyday from every angle that I lose faith. I know that I know better and I should stay the course but sometimes our environment can be so overwhelming that faith slips through my fingers like grains of sand. It is a struggle but that is how I know success for me is inevitable I guess because of this struggle. I can feel it. That shout you made in your article is what we call the “power of the spoken word”. We speak in into existence through faith. This article has been wonderful.

David NeagleJune 3, 2011 at 4:16 pmReply

Thanks Kimberley. Those things coming toward you from all angles are being created by your ego to distract you from moving closer to your goal. Stay focused on the task at hand and take action that brings you closer to that goal. Make the decision, stick to it and full steam ahead! I appreciate your comments.

How about a house boat in the Keys? Lots of fishing, sunbathing, stone crabs, warm weather, friendly people – conchs – and great restaurants. Pick Islamorada – my favourite. Besitos, Gitte

David NeagleJune 3, 2011 at 4:18 pmReply

Gitte, that is a fantastic idea! I could reel in some serious fish off of a houseboat. Now I have the Key’s on my mind…what a beautiful thought!

Hi David,

Thank you SO MUCH for this article. It was perfect for me today, as I literally just resigned from my corporate job today to fully embrace my passion to serve parents through my business. I don’t take this step lightly and I am scared…I’ve been in the corporate world for 22 years and that’s all I’ve known! But, with faith, I know I will make this a success. So, thank you for reminding me that my faith will pull me through and that I cannot fail as long as I remember that.

David NeagleJune 3, 2011 at 4:20 pmReply

You’re welcome Jill! Congratulations on taking action to change your environment and moving forward to pursue your passion. Keep me updated on how the transition goes.

Well, my finding is, that it is mainly your name that allows you to “claim faith and riches” to such an extent and that makes you feel to be the “highest form of life on Earth”. The letters in your name add up to a number that connects you to the energetic and conscious level that brings forth all the abilities and resources that you have available right now, your love for people and “the good life”. I have calculated numerous names of Gurus and it fits for every single one of them, be it Bob Proctor, Joe Vitale, Tony Robbins and so on, you name it. Which is ok, it just annoys me when you give out the message that “everybody” can do it, if they just “believe strong enough”, because that is not so. Which would be also ok, if those who can’t, didn’t always get the message from the Gurus that they are mediocre and have to have more faith and become like them. The level of faith and ability to manifest is part of your purpose and not everybody can claim the stuff or manifest it with ease as you do, as their divine purpose is set differently. And part of your purpose was to make sure that the riches of the world are distributed fairly and sustainably on the planet. I really wonder sometimes, if you don’t know “these real secrets behind the secrets” or just keep them hidden, so people keep trying? Not sure what it is that got me annoyed in your post, normally I really enjoy them. May be a little bit too much of claiming something as personal wisdom which was given to you probably by accident via your name, unless you chose it yourself…

David NeagleJune 5, 2011 at 1:19 pmReply

Joesann, I believe that in order to understand life at all we have to find basic truths in the universe and begin there. The same life force that is in us (human beings) exists in all of nature and is constantly moving in a single direction and that direction is MORE LIFE. More life is the fundamental principle of the universe and it (the universe) can never deviate from that principle unless it’s too eradicate itself completely. So starting there with that understanding it would be counterproductive for the universe to create any life that was more special or had an advantage such as a different name in order for it to become successful.

In ALL of the major religions of the world today the scriptures do state in one way or another that FAITH, BELIEF and ACTION are what is needed for people to succeed and to be in alignment with God, Spirit, Energy, The Universe or whatever name you which to call it. Everyone CAN do it!! Yes they can!! It has nothing to do with their name at all but empowerment of themselves and an understanding of the Laws which govern all life.

I have no special knowledge that was given to me at all nor do I say that I have but what I do have is years of study, growth and dedicated application of principles that work each and every time. If you listened to any of my work you would know that for much of my life I failed and in a big way!! My name hasn’t changed since then but my beliefs and practices have.

I would set this challenge to you, how does your belief that only people with names that add up numerically in some way for success serve you to stay where you are and not grow? When you discover that you can then have the success you want and teach others the same.

Four Winns! I used to live in Cadillac, MI where the Four Winns cruisers are made and they are terrific boats – a great value. If you want the best, though, Sea Ray is it. Enjoy.

Thanks Pat! These boats seem to be very popular with the readership. Will check out the Sea Ray…and gear up for the water! Appreciate the post.

Great article. However everything that is mentioned in this article, needs to be practiced, every day. Doing so, in small steps, recording the events in a journal and reviewing to see, how we handled with FAITH, helps a lot. Thanks David for sharing this. Following are the words that jumped at me and it is worth repeating every day, like brushing our teeth:
” As individuals, very often we identify with our kids, spouse, job, skill set, the problems we’ve had in the past or our perceived limitations, and we think we are those things.
We don’t realize what a special form of life we are.

We’re the highest form of life on the planet that we’re aware of. And we’re all creative, which means we’re here to create and serve. “

David NeagleJune 3, 2011 at 4:28 pmReply

Thanks for the post Lalitha. You are certainly here to create and serve. They say practice makes perfect, but I believe that we already are perfect. Reminding ourselves of this is different for everyone, and it sounds like you and your practice of this information will benefit you moving forward. Appreciate you sharing your awareness.

On Friday, I have a few extra minutes to linger in my personal email. Today I was on a housekeeping mission, bent toward unsubscribing from things I didn’t think I have time for. I have saved many of your articles, and reviewed some more than once. My inbox is getting out of control, and I almost unsubscribed to your emails today. This article changed my mind. I have in recent times kicked up my spiritual walk, as God has revealed His Goodness in many ways. I feel this is another inspiration to continue, at that kicked up speed in my ‘on the side’ business pursuit. Thanks for this article. I will print it and keep in on my wall in front of me instead of in a folder tucked away. It will stand beside this quote, “The Happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts.” ~Marcus Aurelius (And take a spin around the lake for me!) Thank you very much!

That’s great Janet! I’m happy you kept us off the cutting room floor and know that you will find what you are looking for at the exact moment you need it. How perfect is that?

Hi David,

I would first like to express my gratitude for your “Art of Success” program. It certainly came at the right time in my life and the shifts in awareness I have been experiencing are profound to say the least. I get those chills all the time now and I have learned how to easily solve problems and tap into my inspiration. I am entrepreneur and have had success in the past owning a Cd/DVD replication company, but I then lost everything (health, business and personal bankruptcy, foreclosure, divorce, my dog died, 2 mentors and close friends died, and then my aunt passed away). I guess you could say I was an un-conscience competent having success in a way only leading right back to past failures. I had no awareness of what was going on in the inside and when the “taking responsibility” part really clicked I started to make immediate progress. Now I have my voice recorder in my hand at all times documenting the perfect information I receive from my source and I am on my way to releasing my own product called Kava-Traction as well as two other websites I created. I found that when I was at my worst point, I started drinking kava and the kava really grounded me (the root of the plant has the kavalactones) and relieved a lot of anxiety, stress, addiction and started lifting me out of the depression I was in. I noticed that the Kava bar I was going to was a perfect place to inspire creativity, healing and renewal. At the bar one night the idea just popped into my head and I was off and running. Kava-Traction is simply applying the benefits of kava to the principles of the law of attraction. Your program though was the missing link for me and really brought all of the other products I was studying together (Jerry & Esther Hicks, Works of Abraham, Brainsync Meditation, Joe Vitale “Zero Limits, and Tommy Newberry’s “Success is Not an Accident) . I am deeply grateful as when I discovered your free product I really did not have much in the way of money so that was of tremendous help. It was also kind of strange how I discovered your product. It was the first time I had ever browsed the Podcast section in my I-Tunes and I didn’t really see anything I was interested in until I typed in “The Law of Attraction” and I came across a Podcast in which you were a guest. I can’t even remember who’s Podcast it was but had I not poked around that night I would never have found you. Now I feel inspired and limitless and I can’t thank you enough.

As far as boats…I lost my boat 18 months ago in a repo. But I had a 30 foot Searay with twin 6.2 liter Mercruiser engines (out drives). That boat was so much fun and just flew out of the water like a rocket ship with the upgraded engines. I have always been a big fan of Searay boats performance and the service I received from the people at Searay.

Well if you ever get a chance to boat down in South Florida (Deerfield Beach Area) drop me a line and I can give you some tips on some great places to explore. Hopefully I have my new boat by then:)

I am so looking forward to Tuesday’s webinar. Many thanks for your generosity!

PS: Thanks for the tip on the boat; perhaps a trip to South Beach may be in the cards down the road…or whatever waterway I choose to frequent.

Donna RomeroJune 4, 2011 at 5:08 amReply

David, in your first Art of Success program you speak about accidently connecting with universal power way way back when. About 8 years ago this happened to me. It was just a space in time when I was going through a horrible divorce and I needed universel/God so much. I prayed. But mainly whenever I was in my car traveling home usually, I would be so emotional and I would ask God over and over just to take my hand and take a walk with me. I let God know that I was not asking for anything from him I just wanted him to feel all of my love and I always wanted to feel His love. Over and over I would ask for him to just appear, hold my hand and walk with me. I cannot tell you how my life went. But, as luck would have it I really did not understand at that time what I was actually creating or how I was doing it. It just was! I have really never been able to get to that level again but it is wonderful. I know that you have and you do……..It’s a great life!

David NeagleJune 20, 2011 at 6:00 pmReply

Thanks Donna. I want to know why you feel that this creation of a great life has to turn off like a faucet? You can get back to that “level” whenever you want, you just need to make the decision and take steps toward your end goal. What is your goal? What do you want out of this life? Answer those questions , write them down, and stay on track to make them stick. If anything, you should always be of the mindset that whatever you want is going to show up because I believe it to be true. Make it happen!

MimiJune 4, 2011 at 12:11 pmReply

You are right on about faith David. I have manifested things in my life by believing in the way you described. I don´t have to be a well known public speaker or have inmense riches to know that He loves me, cares for me and wants me to succeed. However, I am very happy to see that those, like you, who have influence, are turning hearts to God.

David NeagleJune 20, 2011 at 5:57 pmReply

Thanks Mimi. Nothing unworthy of God is worthy of you, it really is that simple. Our struggles are self-imposed and created by some fear or belief we hold inside; it doesn’t have to be hard. Actually, it NEVER should be. I appreciate the comment.
