[Secret #4: Love] Let beauty transform your business…

Post 113 of 250

Dear Readers,

Before you dive into my newest article below (which I think you’ll find is unexpected), I wanted to share with you the topic that I’ve been focused on in my “Base Camp II” and “Neagle Code MasterMind” meetings these past two weeks in Scottsdale, AZ:

The topic is this:
To summit the mountain of success, you’ve got to “raise your own standard”.

Over and over again, I’m finding that my students are tolerating a meager, low-frequency, unhappy existence.

  • You’re tolerating being behind on your bills.
  • You’re tolerating being less than cutting-edge in your own realm of expertise.
  • You’re tolerating relationships that are unhappy, if not outright abusive.
  • You’re tolerating stopping short of every goal you set for yourself, because you want to “have a life” — even though it’s a life you’d leave behind in a heartbeat if you’d just hit your own money goal!

This is not to say that you’re happy staying right where you are — but you’re certainly willing to stay right there if changing where you ARE means you must do that which unsettles or disturbs you.

Let me be very clear with you:
If you’re not willing to “do” what’s “hard” for you, you will never create the business and results you dream of.

If it’s okay for you to go broke or bankrupt, that’s exactly what will happen … because it’s already okay.

You’ve got to raise your own standard.

  • MY CLIENTS are NOT going to stay where they are.
  • You’re NOT going to hit bottom under my personal mentorship.
  • You’re either going to GROW … or go coach with someone else … someone else who’ll accept your low expectations, your bottom standard, and your excuses for being unwilling (and take your money for helping you stay right where you are).

I refuse to be your “assistant” in living at your bottom.

But if you really want to get a new result — like make some serious money & be a gift in the lives of many many others — then I’m your coach.

“Just Believe”,®

P.S. Are you ready to be held accountable to live up to your own brilliance? If you’ve ever wondered what coaching with me looks like (and what the options are for personal mentorship with me directly), contact my Team to set up a call to discuss at support@davidneagle.com.

P.P.S. Note in the below I’ve written: “Thomas Troward wrote that beauty is the “externalization of harmony,” and that harmony occurs when our powers of being ~ our thoughts, beliefs and actions ~ are coordinated within us and with the divine.”

And THAT’S the standard I’m holding my clients to — to the harmonization of their thoughts, beliefs and ACTIONS.

Why would you want a coach that does anything less than that for YOU?

SECRET 4 of Multimillionaire Entrepreneurs:
Love

Let Beauty Transform Your Business

Too often we only think of beauty as something superficial: a pleasing appearance, a woman who catches your eye.

But if you’ve ever gazed at the wizened face of a very old, joyful person and thought that she or he was beautiful, then you have appreciated the true nature of beauty.

Thomas Troward wrote that beauty is the “externalization of harmony,” and that harmony occurs when our powers of being ~ our thoughts, beliefs and actions ~ are coordinated within us and with the divine.

In other words, beauty comes from within, and we become more beautiful as we progress along our divine path.

The Relationship Between Love and Beauty
Many of us were taught that it’s wrong to acknowledge our own beauty or to love ourselves. Those teachings are inaccurate.

If you were created in the image of the divine, how could it be wrong to love yourself?

When you love yourself as an aspect of divine creation, you begin to see the divine in other individuals as well. You begin to see through the eyes of love.

Through those eyes of love you recognize beauty ~ your own and others’ as well.

Embrace Beauty in Your Life and Business
Troward wrote that love and beauty are both key to the soul’s life and evolution, and the success that we create while we’re here.

That means if you embrace love and beauty, you will not only evolve as a human being, but see tangible results.

That’s why I urge my clients and students to make their environment as beautiful and opulent as they can.

Buy beautiful furniture and arrange it in pleasing ways. Bring in fresh flowers. Buy a nice desk and put framed paintings or photographs on the walls of your office.

Also, wear the most beautiful clothes that you can afford.

Change your environment to match where you want to go.

Bring the evidence of thriving into your environment, where it will be reflected back to you and you will begin to trust that you can thrive in your business.

A person who really emulates this teaching is my sister multimillionaire entrepreneur, Ali Brown. She is a beautiful woman, who recognizes her own beauty and sees the beauty in other people. She dresses beautifully and always surrounds herself with pleasing things.

When she looks at all that elegance, it makes her happy. As she says, it connects her to the “resonance of waking up every day and feeling in love.” And don’t you think that impacts her business in positive ways? You bet it does.

Your Emotions Control What You Perceive
Whether positive or negative, your emotions control your perception.

When you allow love and beauty to permeate your perception, it is expanded, in harmony with the divine, who is love.

Not only do you see the divine and beauty in other people, but you also see opportunities where someone controlled by negative emotions would be looking for obstacles.

You look for solutions where that person might dwell on problems.

You are more open to embracing something different that could lead to a breakthrough in your business.

Behold Your Own Beauty
Next time, I’m going to give you some action steps to help you embrace love and beauty, but until then, in addition to surrounding yourself with beautiful things, I want you to practice seeing yourself as beautiful.

It doesn’t matter if you think you carry a few extra pounds or your hair is too thick or too thin. You are beautiful just as you are.

Look in the mirror, past any flaws, and see your divine beauty.

Keep looking until you see it.

Then, start looking for the beauty in other people as well.

Practice seeing through the eyes of beauty.

If you allow beauty and love to transform your perception, it won’t be long before they transform the whole of your life ~ and business ~ as well.

David: This is one of my favorite “Secrets” as I, like you (and Ali) am happiest in places of beauty and surrounded by beautiful things. Even if that means something as simple as sitting at the beach, or gazing at the beautiful view from my master bedroom. This Secret enabled us to find out “dream home” without settling for less.

Thank you for reminding us all, again, of this Secret.

With Love and Beauty,
Lisa

Thanks Lisa! You are an inspiration to us all and I so appreciate you sharing this with us here. Beauty is all around us, all the time, and we love it! Hope all is well with you!

David – this article was so powerful!! I am unemployed at the moment – but I still do the fresh flowers and always dress up when I go about. Some people perceive me to be wealthy, not in need in any shape or form! So- you are right. If only…..if only I got master my health issues so that I can complete certain tasks in my life (studies) and then get back out there into life and work!!!!

David NeagleJuly 29, 2011 at 12:41 amReply

Thanks Fay. Start living the part and make the decision to get healthy. The power is within you and we look forward to hearing all about it!

Great post, David! My question is: I understand all of this intellectually but I can’t seem to find the emotional switch and keep it to “on.” I can get things going but then the monotomy or perceived montomy of doing things over and over again to be successful just shuts me down and keeps in that “meager, low-frequency, unhappy existence.” How do I change that? Thanks!

David NeagleJuly 29, 2011 at 12:44 amReply

Thanks Sharon. Figure out how it is serving you to be in a “meager, low-frequency existence” because if it wasn’t serving you in some way it wouldn’t be happening. That awareness will help you in your growth.

Hi David,

I just read your post, and I must tell you what a sensational writer you are. Thanks so much for all that you offer. You are surely serving your life purpose and teaching people how to pursue and develop theirs.

David NeagleJuly 29, 2011 at 12:55 amReply

Thank you Peggy. It is easy to write about something you live each and every day. I appreciate your kind words.

I totally agree with you, David, that it’s important to surround yourself with beauty. As an artist, I always have made that a priority. But not that I am a coach, I see that in order to attract a high income, I need to take my environment with me. The impact of the concept came as I realized that one of the first steps for me was to replace my 15-year-old car with a newer one. Once I did that I felt much more like the high income earning person I wanted to become. My goals seem more within reach now. Thanks so much for sharing this important principle.

David NeagleJuly 29, 2011 at 12:45 amReply

That is great Jeannette! The first step was the car, and you felt the difference that has made. I can’t wait to hear about all the goals you will achieve with this new level of thinking. Appreciate the post.

ELISABETH ANTOINEJuly 28, 2011 at 4:39 pmReply

Dear David,
I am so happy to see I am not the only one thinking that surrounding ourselves with beauty is of utmost importance.
As an artist, I am convinced that the elements we choose to be in our environment are reminders of our own inner beauty and potential. We often forget who we are inside, the stress of everyday life makes us lose focus of what matters most.
A painting shoud be used like a mirror, as a reflection of who we really are.

David NeagleJuly 29, 2011 at 12:47 amReply

Thank you Elisabeth. Beauty and opulence is very important on so many levels. I appreciate you posting here.

Dear David,

Your article really resonates with me because of my spiritual connection with an organization kinows as the Sufi Ruhaniyat International. The root teacher of this organization and others, such as the Sufi Order International, is a spiritual teacher from India named Inayat Khan who came to the United States in 191o bringing with him what he called The Sufi Message [also known as The Sufi Message of Spiritual Liberty].
Before every gathering of these organizations, everyone stands in a circle holding hands and says: The Sufi Invocation as transmit6ted through Inayat Khan.
It begins:

“Toward the One, the perfection of Love, Harmony and Beauty…”

Blessings,

Andrew

That’s great Andrew. I love the quote you shared and know that each of those are important to achieving the big successes we all desire. Thanks for posting!

Love your program “7 Mindset & Manifesting Secrets of Multimillionaire Entrepreneurs”. Since I first heard you say that you should surround yourself with beauty at Breaking Free Live in Las Vegas, I’ve been keeping flowers in my house most weeks and looking at them to remind myself of the beauty that surrounds us. I’ve received bouquets multiple times as well, which is a pleasant surprise!

It’s also helped me to continually ask myself, “what am I tolerating?” so I continue to make changes to bring more beauty into my life.

David NeagleJuly 29, 2011 at 12:51 amReply

That’s great Tracey! It is in those subtle (and sometimes now so subtle…) reminders that we begin to grow and stretch. I appreciate your commitment to it and sharing with all of us here.

Julia StegeJuly 29, 2011 at 2:32 amReply

Love this article. I am a big fan of beauty, especially the beauty of nature and artistic expression. What I would add to these tips is bringing beauty into your marketing. When your marketing comes from the heart and reflects your passion beautifully, then your true inner beauty shines through. You don’t have to use every old design trick to attract attention. Use beauty and authenticity to attract the right people and inspire them to engage with you. Through the resonance of your beautiful business card or website, your perfect customers will be naturally drawn to you. Thanks again for an inspiring post.

David NeagleJuly 30, 2011 at 12:27 amReply

Thank you Julia! I totally agree that your promotion comes from within and people pick up on that genuine feeling behind it. I appreciate your post.

AliceJuly 29, 2011 at 10:37 amReply

Thank you for what you wrote. More than perfect timing and content.
“What am I tolerating ?” it feels as I am reading it for the first time.

David NeagleJuly 30, 2011 at 12:28 amReply

Great awareness Alice; now where do you go from here? Keep us posted!

Sheree DiamondJuly 29, 2011 at 2:05 pmReply

Hi David,
I totally agree with you that our environments impact how we feel and how successful we’ll be. I learned this secret over a decade ago when I became certified in Feng Shui, the ancient Chinese practice of placement. Our environment is our mirror so when it’s filled with beauty and things make our heart sing, we will feel more inspired. And when we’re inspired we become happier and become more productive. Thanks for your informative article!

You are welcome Sheree. No one should tolerate an environment that is stifling them. We all deserve better, which is why I settle for nothing less than the best of everything. I appreciate your comments.

SharonJuly 29, 2011 at 7:19 pmReply

This definitely spoke to me. I realize that I have not ben surrounding myself in enough beauty where I live and work. Just adding some flowers has lifted the space. I love wearing beautiful dresses and feel the chills when I do.

AND I have been tolerating too much. It’s not ok that I am struggling financially. I don’t want ok. I want extraordinary!
thank you
Sharon
