[New Article] My unsexy update…

Post 116 of 250

Dear friends,

This morning, when I sat down to think about what to tell you today to “update you” on what’s been going on with me — I had to laugh when I realized the honest truth:

What I have to report isn’t very sexy …
… but it is my kind of fun!!

Honestly, I’ve been spending so much of my free time over the last two weeks connecting & answering questions for our new “The Miracle of Money” community, in our private Facebook group. This membership is so engaged (and engaging) — and extremely proactive on implementing this teaching — that it’s been so much fun for me to support them and read all their “money miracle” success stories.

One member even posted a photograph of her $15,000 “miracle money” check she received in the mail on July 8th!! YES — this is how we manifest!!

And come to think of it: That’s pretty darn sexy!!

I used to think I spent a good amount of time on Facebook — but since we began this series of calls, I’m officially on Facebook I.V.!!

Hope to see you there!

Today we begin Secret #4 of 7 in my on-going article teaching series: “The 7 Mindset & Manifesting Secrets of Multimillionaire Entrepreneurs”

And THIS secret just may surprise you …

“Just Believe”,®

P.S. My warmest personal “Welcome” to our many new readers! Many of you are joining through my “First Steps To Cash” & “Art of Success” no-cost programs, and I’m honored for the opportunity to share my newest article post with you today. May it serve you well!

Secret 4: Love

What is Love?

I was raised to believe that love is drama: emotional, romantic drama.

Most people do equate love with the feeling of butterflies in their stomach or warmness around their heart, but when you really study it, you find that love is resonance.

In acoustics, resonance is when two sympathetic vibrations prolong and intensify sound. When two human beings love one another, they resonate, they sing intellectually, emotionally, on a soul level, and then, often, physically.

Love Permeates and Transforms
Love is our natural state and exists everywhere, not just between two fortunate people. The Divine is love and resonates within us all.

When you really embrace that and love yourself as an aspect of divine creation, and then allow that love to permeate through your being, thinking, emotions and actions, you’ll see love and the Divine in every living thing.

The power of that can turn even terrible things into something beautiful.

The filmmaker Mikki Willis was in New York City during 9/11. Terror, fear, horror and ugliness happened all around him. Buildings were coming down. People died right in front of him.

But as he watched all of this, a tremendous love completely filled him. He realized for the first time that we are literally all one. That tragedy turned into one of the most enlightening and beautiful experiences of his life. He completely changed the course of his business, and now teaches that lesson through his film work.

Love is always trying to permeate your life, and, if you let it, it will absolutely transform you and your business. Your business will become beautiful and fun and lighthearted.

Do Only What You Love
Most people don’t realize how important love is in their business. In my business, we’re serious about what we’re doing, but we have a ball all day long.

We only work with people we love, and I don’t do anything in my business that I dislike.

If I’m doing something I don’t love, God is telling me, “This is for someone else to do.” If you listen to that and step aside, you’re going to provide a job for another individual.

In fact, when you’re doing something you don’t love, you’re stealing from someone else.

Here’s another story. I was mowing the grass once and thought, This is insane. I turned off the mower, put it by the side of the road, offering it for free. Long story short, a couple who couldn’t afford to buy a mower picked it up for their son, who needed a way to pay for college. He put himself through college with a lawn-mowing service, made possible because I stopped doing something I didn’t love.

Now, there is a caveat to this. If you dislike something that is crucial for the business you do love, then find the love in the action.

For instance, if you dislike sales because you think it’s bothering people, you need to realize that sales is service. Especially if you’re coming from a place of love in your business, sales is offering something vital that the person needs for his or her own development.

You Could Change the World
If everyone did what they loved, the world would change.

That change starts with you and your business.

People ask me, “How do you do what you do?” I say, “I love what I do.” They say, “Yes, but how do you do it?” I tell them, “I’m telling you how I do it. I love what I do. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. I love it that much. It’s why I’m here. I’m so very grateful that God has allowed me to do this. I’m very passionate about it.”

I want you to be that passionate about what you’re doing. You deserve nothing less.

You can start by dropping those things you think you have to do and start doing what you love.

It will literally transform everything in your life.

Dear David, Two weeks ago, I heard the first conversation you did a couple of years ago with Ali during my early morning walk in beautiful Ipswich, Massachusetts, on top of town hill where all the veterans are buried in beautifully maintained plots. After listening to you just for those first two hours, I literally dropped to my knees because finally, finally, finally, after so many years of questioning and struggling and knowing that I was here to do more, it was like being given the keys to the door for the rest of my happy life. I am more grateful to the two of you than I can possibly say. I am about to take off like a rocket, and I feel that deeply every day. Every day. THANK YOU. For perspective, during February and March I was homeless, staying with friends, because I HAD to blast myself out of an unbelievably negative, and even dangerous, situation despite not having the funds to find a new place. There was no question. The SECOND I decided to take care of myself and ask for what I needed, EVERYTHING started to appear. But that one call, and all six of them, and now your course, really did it. OK, I’m done…thanks again for everything, David. You’re a welcome voice in my life.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us Bonnie. That time in your life was a difficult one but it allowed you to see that everything is a decision and you opened up to something bigger. Keep moving forward and enjoy this new awareness and perspective that has been shown to you.

“You can start by dropping those things you think you have to do and start doing what you love.” I’ll start there right now with my new opportunities list. I appreciate your articles.

Is this a softer side of David? I’m liking this. I love what you say about love being resonance!

David NeagleJuly 20, 2011 at 1:55 pmReply

LOL Brenda! The secret is out… Appreciate the post.

Cory KempJuly 14, 2011 at 6:29 pmReply

Oh how I needed this today. That sense of allowing deep resonance with Who created us, what we ccreate and who we create is everything. Thank you.

David NeagleJuly 20, 2011 at 1:56 pmReply

You’re welcome Cory! Remember, in every instance you are creating the experience. You can design it how you choose to. I appreciate you posting here.

David, This is the best explanation of Love that I have ever read. You totally nailed it!

David NeagleJuly 20, 2011 at 1:57 pmReply

Excellent Sharon! So glad you enjoyed it.

Sandra FigueroaJuly 14, 2011 at 7:06 pmReply

I did resonate with your words, and kept thinking in a way, besides living the talk, to convice people to let go as a way of love. Maybe I must let go so much first so my own words are sound. Thanks for the reminding.

David NeagleJuly 20, 2011 at 1:59 pmReply

An excellent reminder Sandra. Let go and move forward, sounds like you have a plan to achieve success. Take the maybe out of it and just do it! Thanks for the post.

David,
Thank you for to-day’s message. I think I can make it my “modus operandi”, specially as far as business is concerned since I do love my work. I can also see that I can turn my marketing into a fun process if I “fire ” my heart with the conviction of doing service, love in action!

David NeagleJuly 20, 2011 at 2:00 pmReply

Great Eliane! Put the fun back into it and you will see the results.

Coryn J MorgenrothJuly 15, 2011 at 12:36 amReply

I truly believe you have to do what you love. I have lived and preached that for most of my life. That is also what prompted me to start a 3rd business. But what happened was I made HUGE mistakes and turned the business that I love into a nightmare. I totally agree with stepping aside and letting someone else do the jobs that I don’t love to do or don’t have the time to do but I have negative money and no means to pay them. So I am doing EVERYTHING and although I love having a hand in all aspects of my businesses, there are not enough hours in a day to do it all but with the lack of money, my hands are tied and everything is a mess. I am sure you have heard this all before and crying you a river maybe isn’t the comment that you want but I know my answer is out there somewhere and maybe it lies within you, David. No, actually it lies within me but I am too cluttered to hear it, too unsettled to recognize it and too tired to even try. Thanks for letting me vent, even if it goes into the trash, at least I got a little weight off my heavy heart. Thank you.

David NeagleJuly 20, 2011 at 2:02 pmReply

You need to change your language and outlook or it will only get worse Coryn. Not easy to hear, but necessary. Stop playing the role of the victim and embrace the role of the next success story. Don’t waste another minute and start NOW!

MariaJuly 15, 2011 at 9:17 amReply

Hi David,

Once again great advise at the right time. I am currently out of work and my Employment Insurance is about to run out and Iam feeling the pressure to get any job, so long as I have money coming in to pay the bills, I have been on some interviews and not a single one felt right to me in my gut. I would love to be able to get a job doing something I love and have been looking, but these jobs are not easily available at this time. Do you see my perdicament? Do I take any job and try to love and be grateful for it but continue to look for the job I love and want? Or, this is where I get stuck, because there really does not seem to be anything else, even though I know that I would love to have a job doing the things that I love to do, which is working with LOA and energy, finances are keeping me from doing this, so I feel as if there is no choice but to take anything that comes along. This really bothers me that I have to be doing this.

Sincerely,
Maria Jones

Maria, sometimes opportunities come to us in a disguise. You need to have your needs met, and I sense that you are stepping closer to that terror barrier. If breaking through means taking a job offer that is not immediately what you want than so be it. Who knows what will come of it; it just may be exactly what you were looking for but too clouded to see.
