Is struggle necessary to succeed?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from Frank K.

Neagle Code Question

Hi David,

I must have hidden belief that my life has to be hard, because quite honestly I feel like I struggle for EVERYTHING. I worry, I feel fear, and my successes only come after working myself to the bone. A friend of mine told me that it was because I have to pay my dues and earn my way to success. Do you agree with this

Thanks so much!

Neagle Code Answer

Many people seem to think that suffering and struggle are a natural part of life.

They say to themselves, “I just have to pay my dues.” Or, “Maybe I’m supposed to go through this struggle.

Let me say this plainly: You are not supposed to struggle or suffer.

Just look at nature…nothing in nature struggles.

You don’t see squirrels sitting on a fence worrying about where their next nut is going to come from, or an oak tree telling another oak tree it’s afraid to be seen.

Struggle is an indication.

It’s actually a result that is showing you that you are out of harmony with the Universal Laws, quite likely The Law of More Life and the Reciprocating Law of Spirit.

As I told you last time, when people send Spirit a mixed message, through The Reciprocating Law of Spirit they receive a manifestation of that message exactly as it is.

And over time they fall into a place of “getting or taking”, which is not in harmony with the Law of More Life.

Which simply means: If we don’t add to the life of others, and to life itself, we’re actually taking from life, and we will be broken down as well.

Take a good long look at what you may be resisting doing or being, the resistance is most likely what’s causing the struggle.

  1. I want to hear so much more on this — if we are out of harmony and in struggle, how can we adjust and get realigned. It gets a little vague. Perhaps if I had an example??

    • Like I said in the lesson Janet, you need to take a good long look at what you may be resisting. That is always where the struggle originates. To realign yourself you have to be brutally honest and drill down to what is really stopping you. Everyone is different, so providing an example here would not effective. The truth is you know what you need to do and the vagueness you are experiencing is your subconscious keeping you in confusion. Listen to yourself and you’ll find what you are looking for, in fact, it’s already here. Thanks for the post.

  2. The mind is said to be a powerful tool which if left untrained can do colossal damaged. Therefore, it is important to train the mind and you start by placing the things you want at the forefront of the mind. One writer make it clear that the mind is like magnet which attract whatsoever ir come in contact with and as such the mind must be properly guarded to avoid loose and useless thinking. The bible affirm this by declaring so a man thinketh so is he. In order to change one’s life one has to change his thinking.

    • Yes Hunmin, the mind is no doubt the most powerful tool in the Universe. We all have the ability to be great in this lifetime, so why do so many people struggle? The truth is that controlling your thinking and trusting in yourself is not something we have been raised to do. It is those patterns you were give from your mother, father, or surrogate that are so deeply ingrained it becomes difficult to drown out the noise. Add to that the fact that accurate thinking requires constant study and growth, you can see why so many people find security and safety in the constant struggle. It’s easier to play the victim and point toward everyone else than accepting the responsibility that YOU are in that situation or circumstance because of YOU. It’s not a popular answer, but it’s truth. The sooner you accept responsibility, the sooner the shift will occur. It’s the Law! I greatly appreciate you sharing this here.
