When getting a loan makes sense …

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from Kim.

Question:

Do you go into debt to finance your company to stretch the reach of your audience and marketing possibilities?

Answer:

Hi Kim and thanks for your question.

This question is the perfect example of my teachings on using debt as a tool.

I truly believe that the best use of debt is in the investment in your own growth, whether it's personal, spiritual or business.

If you talk to any successful business owner you will see that they have used debt to propel their business.

However, there are parameters around using debt to grow your business.

First, before considering taking out a loan, you MUST have a plan. You must have an actionable strategy with clear-cut goals and benchmarks or be investing in a program that's going to give you that clear-cut plan.

Taking out a loan and not having a plan in place that allows for you to pay it back is financially irresponsible and only serves as a Band-Aid.

Second, you must be WILLING do what it takes to get a return on investment. This means you have to take action on your plan, and allow nothing to stop you.

A plan and goals are only as good as the paper it's written on unless you are willing to take action on it.

I see entrepreneurs EVERYDAY who spend money on building their business or getting the information they need to build their business, but they never take the action they need to take to grow.

  1. Thank you David, Your information was passed on to me a couple of months ago and I downloaded you 4 hrs of free audio art of success to my iphone.
Though I have listened and done much in the realm of PD, this has been the greatest gift to me for it is opening my eyes and my life is becoming magic. I pass on your gift to people every day…and I am coaching at a whole new level now.
I see the internal work and roadblocks I have created on a new level and have much homework to do. I know in my soul and my heart, my greatest desire is to inspire and make a difference in a big way. I am stepping into my power.
My hearts desire is to speak on stage to large groups of people and move them, touch them, make a difference for them. I also sing and I know there is music in me that cries to be written and sung.
I am attracting different people into my life and am speaking boldly into them and they are listening. From that knowing place. Not one of judgement, but grace and love and clarity.
Thank you thank you thank you.
I just hired a coach and then received your invitation to your course. I will come, not to this one, but I will come. Only if you are teaching though…lol.!!!
I am so blessed and honoured to receive this from you! Thank you!
    Light, Kate

    • Thank you for the post Kate and for the kind words. I am so glad that you found my Art of Success inspiring and look forward to meeting you in person at one of my events. And yes, I will be doing the teaching! Do keep me posted on what lies ahead for you. Make it a great day!

  2. I found that even when I invested in a coach and took action–i failed. I needed the right coach. Something inside me unsolved stopped me from executing the plan, which I am sure could have succeeded. And my coach and I didnt know how to pinpoint that in me and solve that block.

    • So what have you learned from that experience Nitsan? Are you closer to your goals now that you’ve found the ‘right’ coach to help guide you and kick your a**? I’d be interested to hear more about the shift you made and what you feel had a hand in it.
