How NOT to get pulled into the emotions of your circumstances

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

David, I am really hoping you can make sense of this.

I was just recently made the decision to change my life…I left a failing marriage, quit my job and have begun making money in my own business, which is something I’d wanted to do for YEARS.

Ever since the day I chose to change, difficult things have happened. My dad passed away, I’ve been really sick, and my computer completely crashed along with ALL of my data. David, I know this means something. What is going on and how can I make it STOP?

Neagle Code Answer

Hi, and thanks for your question.

I’ve heard hundreds of similar stories and have even had my own experiences like this when I was first starting on my own journey.

What you are experiencing is the power of your ego.

Let me explain. Your ego’s purpose is to keep you “safe.” It perceives any growth as a risk.

What you are experiencing is your ego trying to distract you, scare you, and convince you to stop.

Unfortunately, many people experience this chaos and think that Spirit is trying to tell them that moving forward is not a good idea.

They are dead wrong.

Spirit NEVER speaks to you through fear.

The only way to get control of the chaos is to stand up to your ego. This means that you need to move from being a victim of these circumstances to being empowered.

Yell at the top of your lungs, BRING IT ON, I AM NOT STOPPING! Take your control back.

You see, we create everything in our lives; all the good things and all the not so good things. If you allow yourself to be pulled into the emotions of the circumstances, you will create more of the same.

Shift your perspective and energy and your world will shift with you.

  1. Thank you for this….came in the right time…..wow, this has happened to me for the last two years, and my life is still changing. I will empower to continue and find my opportunity and work on it. Thank you David!

    • You’re welcome A, keep moving forward. Circumstances are a part of life, but rise above the story and realize that you are not a victim. You chose the circumstance so take responsibility, learn from it, and grow. That is how you avoid getting into the emotions of it all. I appreciate the post.

  2. I needed to read your response, David, about the ego keeping us safe. At 65, divorcing, selling up and moving to a new country 3 months ago, it’s as though I’m in Limbo. Luckily fit, I’m having difficulty getting my mojo back (brain fog), I spent a year preparing for my new life. It’s as though my battery is flat or my sparks plugs need cleaning. It makes sense how you put it – thanks. Bring it on and try to stop me!!! 🙂

    • So glad it came at just the right time Patricia, that’s fantastic. Considerable life changes can be difficult, so I commend you for reaching out and not going to that dark place where you simply shut down. Now that this new life is here what will you do with it? It starts today and you’ll look back on it years from now in awe of what you did and the greatness that came with it. Keep that mantra; ‘Bring it on and try to stop me!’ It serves you well. Appreciate the post.
