The Key to Finding the Solution

The Key to Finding the Solution

If you feel stuck, like you’re out of options, or if you feel like you’ve got a block… then I want you to take a deep breath and allow me to lead you through your blind spot.

It doesn’t take luck to uplevel your life, only your desire to grow… and I’m about to show you how.

In the last article, I mentioned that the polar opposite of lack is abundance.

The Law of Polarity says if we’re experiencing anything in lack, the polar opposite of that (abundance) must also exist.

To illustrate this, I want you to do an exercise:

Pick up any object that’s near you — a pen, pencil, sheet of paper. It doesn’t matter what it is. If you hold it in front of you, you’ll realize it’s a “whole” thing.

It’s not a partial thing.

It has a front and a back, a left side and a right side. A top and a bottom.

If I’m holding a marker, I’m holding a WHOLE marker, not half of a marker or a fraction of a marker. The marker has a left side and a right side to it. You can’t have the left without the right. Both must exist for it to be a marker.

The same is true for everything in the universe.

Everything has a polar opposite.

Both sides always exist.

If you have a problem, two sides must exist — the problem and the solution. You can’t have a problem without a solution also being present.

That means if you have a “lack” of money (the problem), then you also have an “abundance” of money all around you (the solution)…even if you can’t see it, due to your belief system not letting you see it!

Now what is the great hope that comes out of this understanding?

Once we begin to see with an inner eye of understanding in our heart, then we’ll start to see something different in our external life. We’ll see with our eyes the outer abundance that lies all around us.

When we do that, we have the possibility of changing any situation. Literally in that moment, we can change our circumstances.

You could even change your income. Turning your annual income to a monthly income becomes a real possibility.

What Creates a Blind Spot?

What Creates a Blind Spot?

What creates a blind spot in our thinking? What causes us to only see lack, limitation, and problems everywhere we look?

The answer is our belief system.

Take a look at your life — specifically your results, circumstances, environment, and money.

Those things are being created by the belief system you have about each of those things.

Our belief system is causing all of this to appear in our life — whether it shows up as “abundance” or “lack.”

First, we see our situation with our eyes. We see our results, circumstances, environment, and our financial situation.

This “information” is then fed back into our conscious mind (i.e., our thinking mind)…which then reinforces the feelings we have about those things.

Usually those feelings don’t make us feel very good… because if we have a blind spot, then there’s a “problem” we can’t seem to change.

The blind spot causes you to focus on problems in your life, rather than solutions.

Back when I was working on the dock, I was frustrated and angry. I didn’t know how to change my circumstances, because my eyes kept telling me the story of what my experience was.

My experience confirmed to me over and over again that my world was filled with “lack.”

I had no time, no money, no opportunities, no friends…

How many times has your life — your eyes —
confirmed
the story of “lack” in your life?

How many times has your life — your eyes — confirmed the story of “lack” in your life?

Think about what you don’t have right now.

You might not have enough:
– money
– opportunity
– time
– resources

Ask yourself, “How do I feel about that? What does that feeling cause me to think?”

Often, it causes people to lose hope…because they can’t see beyond whatever their experience is telling them they’re seeing.

This happens because they don’t understand the Law of Polarity.

This law dictates that if we’re experiencing anything in lack, the polar opposite of that is abundance.

If you don’t have something, that’s a clear indication that you DO have it. You’re just not seeing it…because your belief system isn’t allowing you to see it.

The Answer is Simple…

The Answer is Simple…

What are you resisting?

I ask this question to almost all of my coaching clients.

If we accept that:

1) Your purpose already exists within you;
2) The nature of the universe is abundance;
3) Based on how we think, feel, and act, we can change the course of our entire life;

what causes us to stay stuck in a life that feels unfulfilling?

The answer is simple: resistance.

You stay where you are because you resist these truths.

Take, for instance, money. Money is actually easy to earn, and, once you start earning a lot of money, you’ll realize it is one of the easiest things you’ve ever done. But to reach that point, you need to stop resisting the truth that money is easy to earn.

In other words, you have to get past your subconscious resistance to making a lot of money. Everything I’ve talked about in this article series will help you move past this subconscious resistance.

When you’ve identified what you’re resisting, then you can ask a follow up question.

What am I resisting doing?

These two answers will always be linked.

If you’re resisting success, resisting making a lot of money, then you’ll also be resisting the actions that can lead you to success.

Just answering these two questions will completely change the way you operate in the world. By answering them, and being honest with yourself about what you’re resisting, you will have made a conscious choice to change your life.

I’ve said elsewhere that the most powerful tool humans have is the ability to choose.

Once you choose the sort of life you want to follow, then you will change the direction of your entire life.

Suddenly, all of your energy,
and all of the energy of the universe,
will be flowing in the same direction,
in the direction of your dreams.

From there, you’ll have this momentum helping to channel you in the direction of your purpose.

So, stop resisting and get to work!

Until next time…

The Art of Success – Article #17 – How to Release Your Past

How to Release Your Past

Everything in your past has been absolutely essential for you to become the person you are today.

It has prepared you for where you are now and where you’ll be in the future.

However, a lot of us are walking around with junk from our past that’s causing us to make present-day decisions in a dysfunctional way.

This causes us to make errors in the present. We think we’re doing things right, but really we are not. We’re trying to move forward, but our past is holding us back.

Let go of anything from your past that’s affecting your ability to make decisions in the present.

It’s important to let these things go in a healthy way.

We’ve all done stupid things in the past….and I’ve got news for you — you’re going to do stupid things in the future. None of us are perfect. We all make mistakes. We all do dumb things.

If you did something and realized you shouldn’t have done it, forgive yourself and let it all go.

You can’t change anything that happened in the past anyway, so you might as well let it go.

There are 2 ways to forgive and let go of the past, whether it’s forgiving yourself or others:

1. Accept responsibility. Whatever the situation was (or is), realize that you attracted it into your life for a reason — for your growth.

2. Practice gratitude for it. Even if a situation is “bad,” be grateful for it. Understand that you created it. You’re constantly creating all the time. Everything that’s in your life, you created.

A bad situation is there to teach you something. That’s it. It’s not there to punish you, make you miserable, or cause turmoil or constant pain in your life.

Be grateful for everything. Gratitude keeps you connected to the higher Source where everything comes from to begin with.

If you’re calling everything into your life — if you’re creating everything and being resentful for it — how will anything ever change? It won’t. Your mind will stay on same track. It’ll be resentful. It’ll be full of anger, hatred, or whatever it is…and you’ll just keep thinking the same thoughts over and over again.

If you’re not grateful,
you’re resentful.

You have the power to choose. I urge you to make that choice now.

Is debt getting you down?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

Hi David,

I really, really desire a new car. But I also have credit card debt that I need to pay off. I hear your voice in my head telling me to act on my desire, but I also have a voice in my head telling me to pay off my debt FIRST. Am I thinking about this inaccurately?

Neagle Code Answer

Great question!

I think the real question here isn’t actually about where to spend your money; it’s a question of mindset.

You see, the lower and middle class mindset is steeped in the word “OR”.

They ask, “Should I do this OR should I do that?”

They see limitation and lack.

The wealthy think in terms of “AND”.

They ask:

“What would need to happen for me to do this AND that?”

OR

“What would I need to do differently so that I could have this AND that?”

They see possibility and abundance.

I want to encourage you to think like the wealthy.

What are you resisting doing or being that would allow you to pay off your debts AND purchase the car?

TRUTH: You wouldn’t have the desire to do both
if the opportunity to make the money wasn’t also here.

That’s the question you must ask if you wish for your financial situation to change.

I give. Why am I not receiving the results I want?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from Margit L.

Neagle Code Question

Dear David,

I know I’m inherently a good person. I am giving. I don’t take away the rights of others, and I feel like I’m doing what I’ve been put here to do. All that being said, I don’t understand why Spirit keeps giving me results I don’t want. I feel like Spirit has a different plan for me…Could this be?

Thanks so much!

Neagle Code Answer

Fantastic question!

The reason is likely due to a misunderstanding of The Reciprocating Law of Spirit. Now, don’t be daunted—this mouthful of a law is actually pretty easy to understand.

Reciprocal” means to give in return; therefore, this law explains the fact that Spirit gives you the manifestation of the message that you give it.

It also means that you can have virtually anything you want.

You give your message to Spirit. Spirit gives it back to you (via The Law of Perpetual Transmutation) in physical form. That’s actually great news; however, most people don’t understand that Spirit works deductively.

That means Spirit doesn’t change what you choose.

So if you choose from a wounded psychological, emotional or physical place, Spirit will give you what you’ve chosen in physical form—whether you consciously want it or not.

For instance, let’s say you want a great income so that you can live an abundant lifestyle.

That’s your desire. But if your emotions or beliefs contradict your desire, you’re sending a confused message to Spirit. Perhaps you don’t believe you’re worthy or smart enough, or you’re afraid of surpassing your parents.

Given this scenario, it’s surely the case that your actions will only muddy the message. You’ll take some actions toward creating the income you want, but you’ll also sabotage yourself on a regular basis in any number of ways, such as not following up on opportunities or procrastinating.

What does Spirit do with this mixed message?

It turns it back over exactly as it receives it.

[Fast Cash Formula Series] Article #4 ~ Meeting Your Need Brings You What You Truly Want

If you want to bring in a lot more money, and you’re not doing it, you’re most certainly fighting a belief system you may not even realize you have.

You may intellectually understand what I said last time ~ if you desire the money, the opportunity to bring in that money is around you ~ but you don’t actually believe it.

Beliefs are reflected in and generate your results. In order to change your results, you have to change your beliefs. The best way to do that is to give yourself a new experience. When you give yourself a new experience, your subconscious has to accept it. When it does that, a new belief is born. That new belief then creates a new reality. It’s a beautiful upward spiral.

To activate that upward spiral in your life, start bringing in your need consistently every month.

Your need is what you require to the penny to pay your bills, and, if you’re not already doing so, bringing it in consistently is the surest and quickest way to get what you want.

The Power of Bringing in Your Need

For example, let’s say you want to make $25,000 a month, you need $7,026.35 a month, but you’re only making $3,500. If you aim for the $25,000 first, you’re not likely to make it. If your belief system won’t even let you have what you need, it’s not going to let you have what you want.

In other words, you won’t really believe you can make $25,000 a month. If you don’t believe it, you won’t do it.

However, if your goal is $7,026.35 ~ which is a grounded figure that’s close to where you are ~ and you start bringing it in consistently, you’ve created a new belief that you can take care of your needs. You also feel flush with pride and confidence, saying, Wow, I doubled my income, look at that!

From that place of greater faith in yourself and the universe, it can be a rapid ascent to the $25,000 you want.

Wants Often Originate from Lack

Another reason to aim for your need first is so that you clean up your belief system and stop creating your wants from fear.

For example, people will say that they want to make a large sum like $1 million or $10 million.

When asked why they want that sum, it’s often because they want to avoid pain and stress. They’ve struggled for so long around money, they wish they could just win the damn lottery and not have to deal with it anymore.

That want originates from an energetic place of lack. And because we get what we’re energetically equal to, instead of bringing in an opportunity to earn $1million, they will actually create situations that take away what they have.

If, instead, you focus first on what you need, and you change your belief system, building faith in abundance, your wants will originate from there.

They will be an expression of your highest self. And as you fufill them, you’ll experience a life of prosperity, purpose and joy.

Is wanting what I want a bad thing?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Question:

Hi David,

Some “experts” talk about desire negatively. They say that a person must let go of the desire because the desire controls them as long as they are attached to it. I think there is a middle ground; having a desire without being attached to it. Could you expand on this? What is the best way to keep the proper perspective? I like the idea of focus vs. goals because it feels like the attachment is reduced.

Answer:

Hello and thanks for this question!

I'm not sure what experts you're referring to in your question, but if we look to truth, we can find the answer to your question.

Desire is necessary.

It drives our purpose.

It pulls us to become who we are.

It helps us see when and where we need to make changes in our life.

And most importantly desire is a KEY ingredient in how we create the world around us.

Desire is not evil, but it can be dysfunctional.

The true test for all of us to keep ourselves in check and make sure that our desire is coming from a place of abundance and more life to all is to use the 4 Questions.

I teach the 4 Questions in ALL of my seminars and workshops and to all my clients.

They are a series of questions that help us determine if we desire something or if we are making a dysfunctional decision.

The questions apply to every decision you make and every desire you have.

Question 1: Is this something you want to be, do or have? (You should get a yes to this question)

Question 2: Is being, doing or having this going to take you closer to your goal? (You should get a yes to this question?)

Question 3: Is being, doing or having this in alignment with Universal Law (more life to all)? (You should get a yes to this question)

Question 4: Does being, doing or having this take away the rights of others or does it take away someone's right to choose? (You should get a no to this question)

Use these questions daily to help you stay focused and on a clear path to your goals.

Remember: Desire is the unexpressed possibility within you, seeking expression outside of you.

To deny desire would be to deny your true self.

Not enough what?

Money?  people?  prospects?  sales? resources?  time?

Take a second and think about the last time you thought you did not have enough of something…

What was it?  Most people say money and time.

That is what it usually boils down to anyway.

Now we have all heard we live in an abundant universe, and many say they do believe it to be true, BUT then they turn and say they don't have enough.

They begin to justify their statement by claiming, “It's not the right time,”  “I'm not there yet,”  “God just doesn't want me to do or have (fill in the blank)…”

If you talk with these people a year later, most of them will tell you the same sad story all over again.

Why do people choose to live a life of such limitation in such an abundant world?

The truth is they really believe more in the idea of lack and limitation than one of abundance.

They want to experience abundance before they actually do something to change their life.

It doesn't work that way!  If you want a lesson in true abundance just take a look out your window!

If you even begin to contemplate nature and everything else the universe might contain, you have to come to the sobering conclusion that God did not create all of this on a budget!  Of course, considering the above statement would require one to really think, which is a topic for another discussion…

It is not enough to simple read about abundance.  One must begin to experience it, and the best way to have the experience is to continually mix with people who not only think this way – but live this way.

Let me share a secret with you…

You usually don't have to go looking for like-minded people because they are looking for you.  You just don't see them.

Why?

Because people come with opportunities for you, however their opportunity requires that you give what you are afraid to give up.  (Money, time, etc.)

The universe really is trying to give you what you say you want, BUT it can't do it your way.

(After all, your way has taken you as far as you can go).

Your way has walls, but the universe has none. Your way has fear, but the universe has none. Your way is limited, but the universe is not.

You must realize that you cannot get anything without giving something.  I'm not referring to giving in return,
but rather giving FIRST.

Why not start by giving up the things in your life that are currently keeping you where you are?

Money, commitments, relationships, guilt, & memories are just a few things which have control over your thinking.

Begin to let them go, one by one, and you open the door to a whole new way of being and living!
