How can I set intentions that are true to what I want?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from Sheila S.

Neagle Code Question

David,

I seriously feel like you were speaking to me directly when you answered someoneโ€™s question about โ€œintentions.โ€ I set intentions ALL THE TIME, and Iโ€™m constantly let down. So now I know I must have two intentions being sent out into the universeโ€ฆ one thatโ€™s wounded, and one thatโ€™s an actual desire.

My question is: How the heck do I change this so that I actually can set an intention and receive what Iโ€™m intending?

Neagle Code Answer

Hi! I can tell this is a frustration for you for sure! Let me see if I can help.

Part of the problem is that when you continuously experience the disappointing results, you then compound the problem by making these results your truth or reality.

You most likely say, โ€œThings never work out for me.โ€ โ€œI donโ€™t even know why I try.โ€ โ€œThe deck is stacked against people like me.โ€

If someone tries to help you, you may even fight to the death proclaiming, โ€œBut these are my results.โ€ โ€œThis is my truth.โ€ โ€œThis is my reality.โ€

By doing so, you reinforce the confusion within yourself and recommunicate the same message to Spirit.

Thus, your so-called reality becomes a vicious, perpetuating cycle.

Whatโ€™s the answer?

In order to have the Law of Perpetual Transmutation work in your favor, you must align your head, heart and action (including your language) so that you send a clear signal to Spirit.

I know this is easier said than done, but still, it must be done.

Confront your habits of thought, and correct your thinking. Understand your emotions, and heal your wounds. Speak ONLY what you desire, and take actions that are in harmony with your clear mind and healthy emotions.

When you send Spirit a clear message, Spirit reciprocates that message back into your life with a matching result.

To niche or not to niche โ€“ doesnโ€™t matter. Get out there!

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from Rudi.

Neagle Code Question

I started my business as a life coach 4 years ago but I am not successful. I assume this is because I am confused a lot. I know so many techniques and have helped so many different people with equally different problems that I get confused the minute I think about defining a niche.

How can I get clarity and continue this work that I am truly good at? I can't bear the idea of going back to the corporate world.

Thanks for your help!

Neagle Code Answer

Hi Rudi and thanks for your question!

Confusion is a state of mind that chronically sabotages success. I see it all the time with entrepreneurs.

It usually pops up when someone has a fear of making a wrong choice or a mistake, so letโ€™s look for the truth to bring you back on track.

My question for you is this: Why do you feel the need to define a niche?

I have a hunch that you heard somewhere that to have a successful business you need to niche.

And I couldnโ€™t disagree more.

I see entrepreneurs running themselves out of business because they are trying to define a specific niche rather than spending time listening to their potential clients and speaking to large audiences.

My advice would be to stop trying to define a niche and instead get out there and help as many people as you can.

Youโ€™ll know when itโ€™s time to niche, and you wonโ€™t be confused by it.

Everything but the kitchen sink…

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from Clarice.

Question:

Hi David! I work with brick and mortar business owners as well as on-line entrepreneurs to help them in ALL areas in their business. I help them with social media, copywriting, webpage creation, and mindset to name a few. I have a nice size list and I'm marketing like crazy, but I'm not getting any response or feedback from my list. Any ideas what's going on I need to start making some money and FAST?

Answer:

Thanks for your question Clarice!

You aren't getting any traction with your list because you haven't been clear about what you want and who you'd like to work with.

It's better to focus on one thing and take action on that one thing rather than to focus on many and do nothing.

Ready to get moving?

First, you MUST figure out who you would most LOVE to work with. Is your ideal client a real estate agent, an entrepreneur new to her business, someone searching for a purpose, or someone needing help building a team? EXACTLY who would you most LOVE to work with? Yes, I know, you don't want to exclude anyone, but you must pick ONE for now. Create a detailed profile for that person.

Your list is confused, because they don't know you're talking to THEM. And a confused list NEVER buys.

Next, decide what your most pressing need is RIGHT NOW. If your biggest need is cash flow, create a plan around the fastest way to satisfy that need, and focus on your ideal client. So, if your biggest need is cash flow, don't waste your time on website design. Websites don't produce cash flow, sales conversations do. Immediately focus your efforts on tapping in to the resources around you.

If you want to speed that progression up, you must have a clear target market, message and goal.

When you send off confusing messages and you get confusion in return.
