How can I set intentions that are true to what I want?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from Sheila S.

Neagle Code Question

David,

I seriously feel like you were speaking to me directly when you answered someoneโ€™s question about โ€œintentions.โ€ I set intentions ALL THE TIME, and Iโ€™m constantly let down. So now I know I must have two intentions being sent out into the universeโ€ฆ one thatโ€™s wounded, and one thatโ€™s an actual desire.

My question is: How the heck do I change this so that I actually can set an intention and receive what Iโ€™m intending?

Neagle Code Answer

Hi! I can tell this is a frustration for you for sure! Let me see if I can help.

Part of the problem is that when you continuously experience the disappointing results, you then compound the problem by making these results your truth or reality.

You most likely say, โ€œThings never work out for me.โ€ โ€œI donโ€™t even know why I try.โ€ โ€œThe deck is stacked against people like me.โ€

If someone tries to help you, you may even fight to the death proclaiming, โ€œBut these are my results.โ€ โ€œThis is my truth.โ€ โ€œThis is my reality.โ€

By doing so, you reinforce the confusion within yourself and recommunicate the same message to Spirit.

Thus, your so-called reality becomes a vicious, perpetuating cycle.

Whatโ€™s the answer?

In order to have the Law of Perpetual Transmutation work in your favor, you must align your head, heart and action (including your language) so that you send a clear signal to Spirit.

I know this is easier said than done, but still, it must be done.

Confront your habits of thought, and correct your thinking. Understand your emotions, and heal your wounds. Speak ONLY what you desire, and take actions that are in harmony with your clear mind and healthy emotions.

When you send Spirit a clear message, Spirit reciprocates that message back into your life with a matching result.

Intention. What does that really mean?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

Hi David,

Can you explain what intention means? Iโ€™ve heard a lot of coaches talk about intention, decision and commitment, and it seems itโ€™s used interchangeably all the time. Whatโ€™s the truth behind intention, so I can be sure and use it correctly with my own clients?

Thanks a bunch!

Neagle Code Answer

Hi! Great question!

The Laws make no exceptions for intentions like most people believe.

Now, youโ€™re correct, intention is a big word thatโ€™s being used all over the placeโ€”largely incorrectly.

A person will say, โ€œI did the wrong thing,โ€ โ€œI made a mistake,โ€ or โ€œI didnโ€™t get it right, but my intention was good.โ€

What theyโ€™re really saying is, โ€œMy want or desire was different than what I received.โ€

Or someone will focus hard on a particular result, calling it their โ€œintention,โ€ and then are baffled when they donโ€™t get what they want.

Hereโ€™s the bottom line: If your intention is correct or healthy, you will fall correctly within the Law of Perpetual Transmutation and get the thing that you want. Every time.

If your intention is incorrect or unhealthy, you will get a result, but it wonโ€™t be what you thought you were asking for.

This is because intention comes from the heart.

If you have a wounded heart, if youโ€™re wounded psychologically or emotionally, youโ€™re communicating two polar opposite, so-called โ€œintentionsโ€ at the same time.

Let me explainโ€ฆ

One intention is coming from the wound that has not been healed, and the other is coming from your genuine desire.

Thatโ€™s a very confused message youโ€™re sending to Spirit.

Through the Reciprocating Law of Spirit the result will match the message.

It will be confusion, chaos, playing small, a failing or disappointing business, debt, lack, and so on.

My self esteem is shot. How do I move through this difficult time?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

My self-esteem is in the toilet, and I'm terrified of other people and their judgments. My car is a complete wreck, and I'm really struggling financially. For this reason I isolate myself. I avoid networking events because I'm ashamed someone will see my car. I avoid promoting myself online because I feel that I have nothing of value to say. I avoid dating because I'm embarrassed by my poverty. How can I move through this? Who could possibly help me?

Neagle Code Answer

Right now, the only person who can help you is YOU.

You have to make a decision. And until you make that decision, NOTHING will change no matter who tries to help you.

Right now your programming, your fear and your ego are controlling your life.

All of the self-doubt, fear of judgment, shame and embarrassment were given to you by other people.

They were not given to you by Spirit.

You need to make a decision as to whether you are going to live your own life, or if you are going to be a puppet for someone else.

If you choose to live your own life, you need to immediately begin to do EVERYTHING you are resisting:

  • You must go to networking events to learn that people donโ€™t care what car you drive.
  • You must promote yourself on-line to learn that you DO have something valuable to say.
  • You must begin dating to learn that how much money you make does not determine your worth.
  • You must stop hiding.

So to answer your question, no one can do this for you; you must begin to help yourself by first deciding you want a different life and then beginning to IMMEDIATELY take action to create that different life. In order to support you, STUDY the truth.

I would also recommend you consider joining me in my new low-cost program titled โ€œSubconscious Success.โ€ It will begin to give you the awareness you are looking for as to WHY you are experiencing what you are experiencing, and HOW to begin to think differently so you can act differently. Can I go into debt to invest in my business?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

Is it OK to go into debt to build your business and invest in business growth strategies?

Neagle Code Answer

Hi, and thanks for your question.

This question is the perfect example of my teachings on using debt as a tool.

I truly believe that the best use of debt is in the investment in your own growth, whether itโ€™s personal, spiritual or business.

If you talk to any successful business owner, you will see that they have used debt to propel their business.

However, there are parameters around using debt to grow your business.

First, before considering taking out a loan, you MUST have a plan. You must have an actionable strategy with clear-cut goals and benchmarks or be investing in a program thatโ€™s going to give you that clear-cut plan.

Taking out a loan and not having a plan in place that allows for you to pay it back is financially irresponsible and only serves as a Band-Aid.

Second, you must be WILLING do what it takes to get a return on investment. This means you have to take action on your plan, and allow nothing to stop you.

A plan and goals are only as good as the paper they are written on. You must be WILLING to take action.

I see entrepreneurs EVERYDAY who spend money on building their business or getting the information they need to build their business, but they never take the action they need to take to grow, and life becomes very hard.

The debt piles up and stress, worry, fear and doubt take hold.

Suddenly they find themselves wondering what happened and why things arenโ€™t working and why things are so hard.

You seeโ€ฆsuccess is EASY if you are willing.

Iโ€™m doing a free mini-course on this exact topic at 2:00 pm ET on September 1st. I even titled it, โ€œStop Making Things HARD.โ€ Click here to join me: www.DavidNeagle.com/hard-enough

Should I stay or should I go? A step-by-step approach to making the decision

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

If a person is not happy in a job choice or position does that mean the person should figure out how to change to become happy in any position, or should the person leave the job/position and find something that makes the person happy with the mindset they currently have?

Neagle Code Answer

Hi, and thanks for your question.

I really love this question, and the answer is a bit step-by-step.

First, the person needs to figure out why they are not happy in their current position.

Is it because they canโ€™t meet their financial goals in that position? Is there a conflict with a co-worker or team member? Are the tasks associated with the position not tasks that the person finds enjoyment in?

Depending on the answer to that first question, that person must decide if they want to stay or go. Chances are if the person is not clear why they are unhappy in their position, they will attract the same situation in their next position.

Remember, every obstacle is an opportunity for growth.

If they decide to go, itโ€™s important that they change their attitude around the job and really look at how they can do their absolute best until the next opportunity is manifested.

Some of you may remember me talking about when I first worked on the loading docks in Chicago making $20,000.00 per year. I couldnโ€™t make the money I wanted, I was miserable, and I had a horrible attitude.

As soon as I changed my attitude and did my best in that position, I became aware of a better opportunity that had been right in front of me the entire time, and that opportunity allowed me to go from $20,000.00 per year to $60,000.00 per year doing something I enjoyed A LOT more.

Changing my attitude was the KEY factor in finding the next opportunity. I was making things so difficult for myself.

I see all sorts of business owners doing the same thing, which is why Iโ€™d like to invite you to join me for my free training titled, โ€œStop Making Things Hard!โ€. During this training Iโ€™ll go into detail about the things we do to make our goals so hard to achieve and how we can overcome this sub-conscious trap.
