Expecting that “It’s Already Done”

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

Hi David,

I’ve heard you say that when we put messages (or prayers) out into the universe, we must have an expectation that “it’s already done.”

I know someone who’s in a 12-step program. They’re reestablishing their version of prayer. They were discussing how many people are basically begging God (or a higher power) to help them to NOT take a drink each day. It seems like their prayer isn’t coming from expectation—because they’re not expecting that they’ll be able to refrain from drinking. Yet somehow, they make it through the day. How is that possible?

Neagle Code Answer

The prayer will work for the people who really want to quit drinking.

It WON’T for those who don’t want to quit drinking.

It’s the same with everything else—whether you’re trying to manifest money, more business, a house, or a boyfriend or girlfriend.

The universe responds to your energetic intention—not the words coming out of your mouth.

Many people are taught that “prayer” means asking for what they want instead of claiming it.

If they truly believe that asking for what they want will bring it to them—then it will show up, because their intention is actually to change.

The emotion behind it is the most important part. It’s not the words, so much as the emotion.

The words frame an image in your mind. That’s all they do.

In the Bible it says, “God knows your heart.”

Emotions put out an energetic imprint that’s 60 times stronger than the thoughts.

Also, if you have a strong desire to change, this overrides any lack of belief you might have.

If you learn to listen to your desire, it will lead you through your life. If it’s a true desire, it will always overcome the beliefs—whereas wishes and wants won’t, because there’s no energy behind those. (Or there’s usually a negative energy behind it.)

Giving up Control to Scale

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from Kathleen.

Neagle Code Question

Hi David,

I have built a very successful company of which I am the only “employee”. My growth is now capped. How do I move beyond the fear of scaling, even if I don’t hire people directly but build a resource team of affiliates instead?

Neagle Code Answer

Here’s the thing…

Many businesses start as an office of one, but not a lot of them grow into full-fledged companies. And that often has to do with the owner’s fear of delegating or outsourcing.

I understand that it can seem scary to give up control.

One day, your success depends on your performance. And on the next, there are all these moving parts that can influence it.

But the truth is…

You’re not letting go of control by outsourcing. You’re directing it based on your instructions and the vision of where you want the business to go.

An entrepreneur should know how to do this. Otherwise, you’ll overwhelm yourself and your own business will become a nightmare. Not to mention that you’re putting a cap on its growth.

At some point, you need to get over yourself and start manifesting the people that your business needs to thrive.

And yes, you can absolutely do this without losing control.

You must understand that you always have full control over your business. And on any given day, you can hire or fire someone. As a business owner, you get to take your company in whichever direction you want.

Think about all the people who would love to work for you. Imagine the growth that you can achieve by having a team of high-performers on your side. The image in your head will go a long way towards helping you combat any fear of outsourcing or scaling.

It all comes down to gaining clarity and making a committed decision to scale.

So, set a date to make your first hire. When you take that first step, all other steps to come will be easier.

In time, you’ll build an outstanding team and unlock your business’ full potential.

From Scarcity to Abundance

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from Susie.

Neagle Code Question

Hi David,

How do I shift out of a scarcity mindset around not having enough money to survive beyond a certain date?

Neagle Code Answer

It comes down to making a decision…

Will you follow the current reality you live in, or will you follow the laws of the universe?

For the latter, you should know that the laws of the universe always operate in abundance – there’s no room for scarcity here.

The issue with this is that not everyone gets to experience this abundance.

Here’s what I need you to understand;

Abundance is there for you, but it’s something that you need to grow into and become aware of to get the right to experience it.

At one point in my life, I was broke and my world was falling apart. And the moment all of that changed was when I made a conscious decision to no longer follow the principles that got me there.

I had no proof that the other principles were real in my life. But I could see that other people were living by them. And when I looked at their life, I found out that those principles were real.

My goal was to follow those principles until they became real in my life as well.

And so they did.

When you make the same decision, you raise your awareness of what you know is here. More importantly, you move up in reality and never feel those lower levels again.

Think about it…

Can you trick yourself into believing that you can’t walk?

Of course not!

That’s because walking is a part of your current reality. Unless something physically prevents you from doing it, you can’t un-remember how to do it.

Abundance works the same way.

Once you get to a million dollars, you don’t un-remember how you got there – it becomes a part of who you are.

Understanding this is a necessary part of growth. You’ll be developing your mind to work for you and not against you.

Why do I sabotage myself?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from Mario.

Neagle Code Question

Hi David,

I’ve been quite successful recently. My business has grown and grossed more money than ever.

However, I feel like whenever I take a big step forward… I end up suffering some major setback.

Why do I self-sabotage after doing really well?

Neagle Code Answer

Thanks for the question!

We all have an internal compass that dictates how much money or success we’re allowed to have. It’s set at a certain level (based on our programming), and once we go past that level…it gets stuck.

It’s called a Cybernetic Mechanism… or in simplere terms, a financial set point.

That’s when you find yourself “taking a step back.”

To break through this, you must first understand what’s actually taking place in your mind.

Let’s say you start making a lot of money — far more than what you were programmed to make.

Your financial set point immediately kicks in.

Once your brain senses that you’re making more money…it runs away from that, because it thinks it’s not safe. (It’s unknown.)

Our mind hits this place where it goes, “You’re OK here. You can back off from whatever you were doing.” And you take your foot off the gas.

It will cause you to “not feel like doing the work today.”

It will cause you to “get depressed.” (Or sick. Or tired.)

It will create some kind of “extenuating circumstance” in your life — anything to knock you off the disciplined routine you have for earning.

Your internal financial “governor” is literally controlling your behavior.

It will bring you right back to wherever your “financial set point” is.

Before you know it, you’ve dropped back down, and it takes all your energy to get it back up. You get exhausted. It drops back even further. We go through this cycle our entire life…without realizing what’s going on.

(That’s why you’ll have one month where you make the most money you’ve ever made before…followed by a $0 month or several low months.)

In these moments, ask yourself, “Why I am choosing to fail?” or “How is serving me to let this pattern be in control of my results?”

Get really quiet and honest with yourself.

And then…

Keep your eye on your goal.

You have to make an agreement with yourself that you’ll keep going — keep doing the actions needed to bring in the money — no matter what shows up to slow you down or stop you.

When you continually take action to move you forward, you’re reprogramming your mind to believe there’s an abundance, and your cybernetic mechanism will lose it’s power.

How to calendar for an elite success mindset

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

Hi David,

Do you have any guidelines, or have you seen anything pattern-wise with people in terms of how they set up their calendar for success?

Neagle Code Answer

I love this question! Thanks!

Most of the successful people that I know, including myself, use the calendar for everything.

It's not for time management.

It's for activity management.

There's a big difference. You can't really manage time, but you can manage activities.

You can manage them based on what’s important in your life.

So, the calendar is the roadmap to the quality of your life, really.

First my team and I sit down and put in the time we want off.

Then we add in our events and launches (in person and online)… sometimes a year or two in advance.

Then we reverse engineer the activities that are required to do all of those things and add those tasks into the calendar.

The best thing that you can do is schedule your entire day from the time you get up until the time you go to bed, including your free time.

You may not know what you're going to do with the block of free time, but it's on the calendar.

The delineation in your mind is that when you go from one thing to the next, you leave the one thing that you just did and you don't carry it over.

You don't carry over the marketing meeting into the sales meeting or the sales meeting into a coaching call.

Then when you're not working and you're in your free time or with your family, you're not working, and you're in your free time with your family.

You're 100% focused and present.

Your calendar should be designed based on the goal and the vision that you create for yourself so that you can systematically work toward it and manifest it in your life.

Stirs your soul

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

David,

When people ask me what I want, I find myself stumbling with the answer to that question as if I might answer it wrong. However, I do know a few things… I know I want a bigger home. I know I want to be debt free. I know I want to travel and give my kids some amazing experiences, but I can’t seem to bring in the money I think I need to have and do all those things. So part of me wonders why, if I’ve wanted these things for so long, haven’t they happened yet? Can you help me understand what’s going on here?

Neagle Code Answer

Sure! Let’s do a quick check in 3 different areas that affect your ability to manifest what you want.

Any time that you’re choosing something that you want in life, whether you’re writing affirmations, a mission statement, creating a vision board, setting goals or intentions, you need to get a very clear idea of what it is that you want, and write it down in the present tense, as though you already have it.

For example, “I want to buy a beautiful house in the country” becomes “I am buying a beautiful house in the country.”

Once your thought is clear, you need to make sure that your emotions are as well.

Look at your written goal or desire and ask yourself, “Do I believe that I can get or have that thing I want?”

If your desire is more of a fairy tale that you would love to have, but don’t really believe you’re going to get, you need to throw that paper away and start again with, “What do I really believe I can get?”

If you don’t believe you can have what you want, Spirit doesn’t believe it either.

And since Spirit works deductively, it can only send back to you in manifest form what you actually believe.

And finally, look at the goal you wrote down and ask yourself: “Is this just something that I think I can accomplish, or is it something that I really want? Does it stir my soul and inspire me?”

When I first started doing goal setting for myself, I made the mistake that most people do. I started picking things that I thought I could accomplish, which was really based out of past experience and not what I really wanted in my heart, not something that excited me or gave me any kind of vision for my future.

Therefore nothing changed. The energy behind the picture was of the past, so nothing changed.

As you can see, there’s a very delicate balance that must take place in order for you to work what most people would consider miracles into your life.

Your desire can’t be too much in your past, and it can’t be too far into your future either. It needs to help you grow while remaining within your belief system.

Work WITH the Laws

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from Angel.

Neagle Code Question

Dear David,

In your last article you said that the Laws are ALWAYS working. Can you explain what you mean by that?

Thanks so much!

Neagle Code Answer

I’d be happy to answer that question, Angel!

You are operating under the Laws of the Universe whether you are conscious of them or not.

You can’t manifest anything in this world without application of every one of the Laws. And you are manifesting every second of every day…all the good and all the bad.

That’s why they are called the Laws of the Universe.

Nothing escapes them.

Consider the Law of Gravity. Anything that is heavier than air is pulled toward the center of the earth.

It does not matter if you are a scientist and you understand exactly how gravity works, or if you are completely ignorant of it.

If you fall, you’re still going down, because we are all subject to that law.

It’s the same with the seven Laws of the Universe.

They are
absolute.

And they make no exception for ignorance.

If you are not aware of the Law of Gravity and you walk off the end of a building, a great big hand is not going to come out of the sky and grab you because you did not know you would fall.

Similarly, the Laws of the Universe don’t change just because you weren’t aware of them or because you had a good intention.

You’re either working WITH the Law or you’re working AGAINST the Law.

And you can tell by your results, which is the case.

Either way the Laws are ALWAYS working!

The Art of Success – Article #4 – You Have The POWER

You Have The POWER

As I stated last week you are a spiritual being living in a physical body, and you can create whatever you want. In fact, your entire life is a creation…from the food you eat for breakfast; to the way you adjust your chair.

Your life can be a beautiful work of art.

It can be as “beautiful” or as “ugly” as you want it to be. Either way, you’re creating it.

Most people don’t even realize they have the power to create anything. They simply go through life responding and reacting to whatever happens to them, often feeling like a victim of their own creations.

There’s not much joy or fulfillment in that way of living.

Part of the problem is that people don’t realize they’re creating their experience.

Plato said, “Life should be lived as play.”

What does it mean to “play”?
Play means you enjoy what you’re doing. It’s simple. We should be enjoying our creations.

Every day, we’re creating — whether it’s our business, our work, our relationships, a hobby, or anything else.

Given that we’re magnificent beings, we should create the way we want to live, spending our days with people we love, doing things we love to do, and earning whatever amount of money we desire to earn.

We have that power.

It’s really a great “trip” once you figure out how to live that way.

Then it’s simply a matter of adjusting your creations, until you love them.

(If you’re not enjoying it…how can you create something different?)

The first step is to know what you want to create.

See it in your mind, and imagine it in vivid detail.

How would you like to spend your days? What would you like to do? What’s deep in your soul that’s calling to you? What are you curious about? What would you love to explore?

Imagine filling your life with things you love, and losing all track of time because you’re so in love and so passionate about what you’re doing.

The successful person knows what they want, and they dare to create it.

What are you going to create today?

Meditate or Manifest?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

David,

Everyone seems to be talking about the importance of meditation lately, but I have really only heard you talk about manifestation. I am very confused, so can you please explain the difference between meditation and manifesting?

Neagle Code Answer

Hi, and thanks for your question!

Many people confuse manifesting with meditation.

Meditation is a practice of consciously choosing to center yourself, to quiet your mind and find inner peace.

Manifestation is very different.

You don’t need to meditate to manifest.

Manifestation is the
continuous process
of creation.

We are constantly manifesting everything in our lives at every moment. Whether it’s the pen you write with, the water you drink, the tree outside your window or the money you make; you have manifested it all.

Most of the things in your life you manifest without even being consciously aware that you’re doing it.

Where manifestation gets confusing is when people try to consciously manifest something. They think they need to say affirmations, meditate or use their will to create.

The truth is, manifestation starts with a simple idea in our brain. It could be a thought, a feeling or a picture. As soon as that enters into our awareness, our brains begin to “tune in”. And we begin to seek the opportunities to bring our idea into form.

It’s very similar to how a radio works. Think about it… There are thousands of radio waves around your head. You’re not aware of the music or sounds, because your brain lacks the ability to tune into the frequency. However, if you turn my radio on, all of a sudden you can hear the music. The radio didn’t create the music, it just simply found the frequency to bring it into form.

Our brains are like the radio. We don’t create things out of thin air.

We are constantly seeking to become aware of what already exists
so that we can bring our ideas, thoughts or pictures into form.

We then begin to bring our ideas into form by taking action on the opportunities that are presented to us because we are “tuned in” to the frequency of the idea we want to manifest.

Borrowing to manifest money…is that allowed?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

Hey David!

First off thank you for everything you are doing, your insights are helping me greatly and knowing where you came from encourages me.

You have said that we have the ability to bring in the amount of money to do what we need and want to do through creating a sense of urgency. When you say “bringing in the money,” do you consider borrowing as a part of “manifesting money”? I just want to be clear on what options you are referring to so I don't shut out any opportunities based on old beliefs.

Thank you for your help.

God Bless.

Neagle Code Answer

Hi, and thanks for the great question!

The simple answer to your question is …yes.

Let me explain.

To manifest means to become aware of something that already exists.

Really take a moment to think about this…

When you have a desire, and it’s coupled with a sense of urgency, the Law of Polarity states that the way to fulfill that desire must also be present and possible.

Which means, that the money you need for that desire is also present, you just may not be aware that it’s already here…meaning you may not “see” it.

It may be hiding behind an opportunity, tucked away in your savings account, or with someone else.

Borrowing is a perfectly acceptable way to “bring in” money. Obviously I would advocate that you abide by the payment terms of what you’ve borrowed.

Remember, money does not come from people, it comes from Spirit THROUGH people.

If the money is already here, ask yourself what you are resisting being, doing or having that is preventing you from seeing it.
