My employee/friend can’t keep up. Should I let her go?

David,

I have an employee who has been working with me for a long time. We’re friends, and she works for me. The problem is: I’ve grown and she has not. I find myself NOT asking her to do things because I know she’s not at the level to do the task, so I do it myself. More and more I find myself imagining hiring someone else who can meet me on my level and keep up, but I care about her and don’t want to make a mistake by letting her go. I’m concerned I won’t actually find the right person to fill the role or that my expectations are too high. How do I know what’s the “right” decision to make?

Neagle Code Answer

Hi, and thanks for the GREAT question! I know many people struggle with this.

One very important TRUTH to understand is that everything in the Universe is seeking you. Health, wealth, relationships, it’s all seeking you.

It’s like that famous, finger-pointing Uncle Sam poster: Prosperity wants YOU.

So when you have a desire for something, it’s because that thing is seeking you and it’s resonating with something that’s inside of you.

The Law of Polarity states that a desire can’t be felt until the supply is ready to appear.

So what does this mean?

It means that the desire you feel means the right person to fill that role is already looking for your position.

It also means that the more qualified person is also, based on the Law of Vibration, in harmony with your desire.

AND

It also means that you’re tolerating your current employee, which is not only negatively affecting your business, it’s also keeping this new person from appearing.

The REAL problem here isn’t about making the right decision is it? What you’re actually struggling with is either a) you feel responsible for this current employee b) you are afraid of what she’ll think about you if you let her go or c) you are purposely sabotaging your business.

And it could be a combination of all 3.

There’s one more thing you need to understand…and you may want to write this down and re-read it.

If it’s not working for you, it’s not working for her.

If you look to the truth you will see what is the “right” decision.

How to attract clients who can afford your services

Help! I don’t seem to be attracting the people who can afford my programs. I have conversations with them, and just by what they are telling me, I know they can’t afford my services. Most of the time I don’t even offer what I know they need because I know they can’t afford it. How can I attract people who can pay for my services?

Neagle Code Answer

Thanks for this question!!

But hold on a second…if you don’t ask for the sale, how do you know they can’t afford what they need?

You don’t have a client problem, you have a sales problem, and the answer is simple…

You need to step into being the expert that you are.

Let me give you an example I often use.

Let’s say you have a problem. You’re experiencing chest pain. You rush to the doctor and he runs some tests. He discovers that you need open-heart surgery.

He comes back into the room to tell you his recommendation, but he looks at you and determines that you can’t afford open-heart surgery.

So instead he clips your toenails and sends you on your way.

That doctor has broken a Universal Law. He has taken away your right to choose.

How does that make you feel? Probably not very good, because you’ll have a heart attack without that surgery.

The above scenario isn’t much different than what you’re doing with the people who are coming to you for help.

You are the expert, and the truth is, if their sense of urgency is high enough, the money will be there.

Don’t take away someone’s right to choose what’s best for them because you’ve judged that they can’t afford what they really need.

Always remember the Law of Polarity… if someone has a desire, the opportunity MUST be there.

This means, if they want help, they must have a way to pay for it!

Where’s the Money?

Hey David,

First off thank you for everything you are doing, your insights are helping me greatly and knowing where you came from encourages me.

You have said that we have the ability to bring in the amount of money to do what we need and want to do through creating a sense of urgency. When you say “bringing in the money” do you consider borrowing as a part of “manifesting money”? Just wanting to be clear on what options you are referring to so I don't shut out any opportunities based on old beliefs.

Hi and thanks for the great question!

The simple answer to your question is …yes.

Let me explain.

To manifest means to become aware that something already exists.

When you have a desire and it’s coupled with a sense of urgency, the Law of Polarity states that the way to fulfill that desire must also be present and possible. Which means, that the money you need for that desire is also present, you just may not be aware that it’s already here.

It may be hiding behind an opportunity, tucked away in your savings account, or with someone else.

Borrowing is a perfectly acceptable way to “bring in” money. Obviously I would advocate that you abide by the payment terms of what you’ve borrowed.

Remember, money does not come from people, it comes from Spirit THROUGH people.

[5 Simple Steps to Unshakeable Self-Confidence Series] Article #7 ~ Step 2: Replace Your Harmful Thoughts


Strong words in that title, but how else would you describe the thoughts, beliefs and stories that undermine your efforts to have the life you want?

That’s why Step 1 of my Five Simple Steps to Unshakeable Self-Confidence is to root out these thoughts by finding the “I can’t, because…” messages that are operative for you.

I walked you through this last time, but, as a reminder, these are things you say to yourself, such as:
“I would like to go to the conference but I can’t, because I’m not accomplished enough.” Or “I would like to make more money, but I can’t, because I’m a creative person. Creative people don’t make money.”

Once you identify the limiting beliefs that are lodged in your subconscious, Step 2 tells you to replace them with a higher thought.

Choose to believe in an idea that is based in powerful Universal Truth.

Flip It
The simplest way to find that higher thought to believe in is to flip the I can’t, because message.

This is a two-part process:

1. Instead of saying why you can’t do something, start saying why you can.

For instance, “I want to go to the conference, but I can’t, because I’m not accomplished enough,” becomes, “I want to go to the conference and I can because________”

2. And then you find a reason to put after “because” that is based in Universal Law.

The best Universal Law to employ on a regular basis is the Law of Polarity. This states that if you have an idea or desire the means of attaining that desire is already around you. In fact, you could not have an idea if it were impossible for you to manifest it.

Your New Story
After applying Step 2, your new stories might sound like this:

“I can go to the conference because I am accomplished enough to benefit from it. Otherwise, I would never have had the desire to go. The idea never would have occurred to me.”

And, “I would like to make more money, and I can, because I have that desire; therefore, it must be possible for me as a creative person to make more money.”

More Work to Do
Step 2 is a solid start, but you’re not done yet.

It’s very likely that the ways you think things should be done are also based in your old story.

So while you start telling yourself that you can make more money, and you realize, in fact, that some of the wealthiest people on the planet are creative, you still might not see the results you want.

Because the ways that you apply that new belief, the actions that you take, are still based in your erroneous thinking.

And that’s why rebuilding your unshakeable confidence, and making a lot more money, requires three additional steps.

[Fast Cash Formula Series] Article #15 ~ What’s REALLY Holding You Back?


In my most recent article, I shared the first of two favorite tactics of the subconscious mind to keep you where you are.

That first tactic is our tendency to look for the magic pill, the easy solution, rather than choosing the option that requires us to change and which, therefore, leads to success.

The second tactic is what I call the rabbit hole of the subconscious mind.

The Rabbit Hole
Often when people get stuck and feel they can’t move forward, they think that a block stemming from a childhood trauma of some kind is holding them back. So they start focusing on what that could be, thinking if they could just remember or figure it out, they’d be able to release the block and start moving again.

The trouble is they’ve just fallen into a trap ~ the rabbit hole of the subconscious mind. They could stay on a therapist’s couch for 20 years, looking for memories, talking about change but not making any, and, therefore, unlikely to make the real growth that leads to the big wins.

It’s Your Excuse
The thing that’s holding you back is your excuse: what you say to yourself in the moment about why you can’t do something that would take you where you want to go.

For instance, when you say, “I can’t go to the event because I don’t have the money or I don’t have the time,” that is in your imagination. You do have the money. The Law of Polarity says that’s true. If you have a desire, the way to fulfill that desire is also around you. And you have 24 hours in every day just like everybody else. You get to decide what to do with it.

Your Excuse Is Perfect for You
But you don’t see it that way, because your subconscious mind knows the perfect way to stop you. The excuse you come up with is totally logical, makes sense emotionally and is tailor made just for you. It’s so perfect, you can’t see any way around it.

And if you don’t bring in some other knowledge or perspective, you never will get around it. It’s another trap. And you will remain stuck.

How to Get Unstuck
You need people in your life, like a coach, to call you on the excuses you use to hinder your growth. You need to become aware of what you say to yourself so that you can stop believing it, and then employ helpful ways to make decisions.

For instance, if you’re considering whether to go to an event or take a class or start a project, ask yourself The 4 Questions I shared with you recently. If you get a green light, your answer is yes. Take advantage of the opportunity.

Stop making excuses and, instead, make the changes you need to make, and along the way you will grow. You will see your path lighted a step at a time before you, leading you toward your goal.

[Fast Cash Formula Series] Article #10 ~ How To Identify The Best Opportunity For You

If you have a need or desire, the opportunity to fulfill that need or desire is also present in your life. That’s the promise of the Law of Polarity. By the way, the same is true of any problem you’re having. Its solution is already in your life.

So the question is, where is it? As I’ve said, often hiding in plain sight.

Last time, I started guiding you through an exercise to help you find your opportunity. Before I move on to step 3, here are steps 1 and 2 again:

EXERCISE:

Unmask YOUR Opportunity, Cont.

Step 1. On a piece of paper, write down your “need,” the amount to the penny of your monthly bills. If you are meeting your need every month, write down what you want. What is your financial goal?

Step 2. Now, make a list of every opportunity that comes to mind that could help you meet your need or want. No matter how far-fetched or unappealing the idea may seem, write it down. (We’ll record and evaluate your objections in steps 3 and 4.)

If you haven’t censored your ideas, you should have opportunities on your list that scare you—that threaten your subconscious’ aim to keep you safe by preserving the status quo.

You also probably have some ideas on your list that would not be advantageous. Your subconscious may have you thinking it’s the perfect solution, but it would actually make your situation worse.

For example, during difficult financial times, people sometimes go back to school for a degree that puts them deeper into debt but doesn’t help them get work when they graduate. Going back to school is not always disadvantageous, but people sometimes do it because they’re afraid to push themselves in their business to make sales or get creative in how they market or become more visible. The trouble is they’ve only put off their problem. Their fear is going to be waiting for them in two or four years when their financial hole is even deeper because of the student loan debt.

To help you choose wisely among your opportunities, go on to step 3.

Step 3. Every opportunity has at least one challenge associated with it—something that makes you think the opportunity would be difficult or impossible to pull off.

The most common challenges are: not enough money or time, issues with a loved one or prior commitments. There may be a particular seminar you want to go to, but you have something else scheduled at that time or you think you don’t have the money or your spouse is already upset that you’re traveling so much.

The opportunity may also require you to face your fear of rejection or embarrassment. You may have to take an unpopular stand or even move to another location.

What challenge(s) come up for you as you consider each opportunity on your list? Beside each item, write them down.

In the next step, we will shine the light of reason on those challenges, so that you can begin to see them as simply more opportunities to take you where you want to go.

The opportunity to get what you want and need is around you right now. The Law of Polarity states that if you have a need, the way to fulfill that need must also be present.

The problem is, opportunity doesn’t actually knock. It hides…in plain sight.

Opportunity doesn’t want to hide. It’s there to give you what you need, but you can’t see it because your subconscious mind doesn’t want you to.

Your Subconscious Mind Controls Your Perception

Your subconscious is designed to keep you safe by keeping you where you are and preserving the beliefs you were programmed with. It does this by projecting a reality that is in harmony with those beliefs—a “reality” that also controls your perception and interpretation of outside events.

If an opportunity around you threatens those beliefs, your subconscious will prevent you from seeing it at all or will convince you that it’s harmful.

The Opportunity I Didn’t See

I experienced this myself. For two years, I had an opportunity in my life that would lead to tripling my income in less than a year, but I didn’t see it.

This particular opportunity not only challenged the negative beliefs around money that I’d been programmed with, but it also required me to face a very deep fear.

For two years, every week, part of my job on the loading dock had me talking to the driver of a fuel truck. When I reflected on his job, I thought, “Why would anyone want to drive a ‘bomb on wheels’?”

I saw it that way because a tragic fire when I was very young killed my uncle and two cousins, and my whole family was afraid of fire. My mother wouldn’t even allow candles in the house.

That fear controlled and limited my life in ways I didn’t even realize. In order to begin to have the life I wanted, I had to vanquish it.

Fortunately, my motivation to leave the unsafe situation my family was in, living next door to a drug dealer, was strong enough that when the driver told me about a job opening, I didn’t dismiss it, as I had in the past. In fact, I challenged him, making him bring in a pay stub because I didn’t believe he made as much as he did.

Long story short, I took the job, and in less than a year went from $20,000 to $60,000. Not long after that, another opportunity led me to what I’m doing today.

Action not Therapy

The bottom line is if you don’t have what you need or want, some fear and/or belief is holding you back.

Now, don’t run to therapy and try to figure out what that is. Instead, look around for the opportunity that will have you face that fear, build a new belief system, and give you what you want in life.

In order to do that, however, you have to be able to see the opportunity that your subconscious is hiding from you.

Whenever we have money problems, we tend to worry, struggle, tighten the purse strings and engage in other types of lack-inspired thinking and behaviors that actually push money away.

Not only does a mindset of lack push money away, but it also blocks ideas that would bring money in. It’s as though you have a little man in your head with a flyswatter, flicking away those pesky, expansive ideas from the Universe that don’t match what he believes.

Now imagine that you have a little magic box in your home that produces whatever you want, whenever you want it. Imagine how that would change how you think and feel.

Fear, worry and insecurity would fade, because you’d know that you could go to your magic box whenever you wanted something.

Your Magic Box

The truth is you have such a box. You can have any amount of money you want, whenever you want it.

The Law of Polarity states that if you have a need or a desire, the way to fulfill that desire has to exist in your life as well. You just have to reach out and grab it.

The money that you want, the thing you desire, is as close as your own breath. It doesn’t require great amounts of learning or strategy.

Let’s say you earn $100,000 a year, and you want to earn $10 million.

To earn that $10 million, you will definitely need a different way of making money than you have now, but the first step to that new way is in your life right now. And it may not take as long as you think to reach $10 million.

It will require a mental shift. You will have to put your faith in the Law of Polarity, and send the man with the flyswatter packing.

Then, brilliant money-making ideas will actually get through to you. You’ll take action on them and give yourself a new experience. Let’s be modest and say you double your income. Your subconscious won’t be able to deny that you doubled your income, and it will form a new belief that you can do that.

Armed with this new belief, you can ascend even faster, tripling, quintupling or increasing your income even more. My clients and students make massive leaps all the time.

That can begin for you today with your faith that life can be better, that the Law of Polarity is true.

So imagine that magic box in your home, apply what you learn in this series, and just watch what you can do!

[Goal Setting Series]Article #6 ~ Manifest Your Prosperous Idea

If you've been following this goal-setting series, you've identified what needs to leave and come into your environment, and you've made an unwavering commitment to your goal.

You are now ready for it to manifest.

Get Emotionally Involved

To start moving your idea from the nonphysical to the physical, you have to become emotionally involved in it.

Imagine how your project will feel when it comes to fruition. Think about it all the time. Fan your desire for it into a white-hot flame.

Why is that important?

Emotions are like the engines behind our thoughts, which by themselves are neutral.

When you imbue your idea or any thought with emotion, you send it zinging through time and space, and the Universe starts bringing you what you need to manifest it.

If you stay emotionally connected to your project, it will manifest quickly.

If you fall into doubt and recant on being willing and able, you return to ground zero. You have to start again.

I know…if you've never consciously manifested something before, it is difficult to keep the faith.

Just remember that the moment you had the idea it came into existence along with the means to manifest it.

That's the promise of the Law of Polarity.

Instant Manifestation and the Law of Polarity

The Law of Polarity states that everything in the universe has an opposite. There would be no inside to a room without an outside. Every up has a down and every down has an up.

Not only does everything have an opposite, but it is equal and opposite. If it's three feet from the floor to the top of the table, it's three feet from the top of the table down to the floor.

The opposite of a question is its answer, so when you have an idea, the way to manifest that idea is also present. They're like two different sides of the same coin.

People think that wealth and poverty are two different things, but they're not. They're just opposite sides.

This is true for any ill effect you're experiencing, whether it is debt or lack of prospects, sales or money.

If you're experiencing the opposite of the thing that you want, that thing is also around you. You just don't perceive it.

This is why instant manifestation is real. Once you can perceive it, it's already there.

Bang! It comes right into your field of vision. You have it. It's yours.

Yes, you do have to shift your perception in order to see ~ and experience ~ the other side of the coin.
