How Do You Keep the Faith While Waiting?

This week's question from “Ask Us Anything” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

How do you keep a belief when it seems like nothing is happening?

For example, I’ve been trying to find opportunities to expand my social media network. It’s been quiet for four days. My intuition told me, “speak only what deserves to be spoken”. Then on that day, after being silent, with nothing going on—out of nowhere, I got a free VIP ticket to a social media marketing event.

During that in-between period of waiting, I was anxious and wondering if it was working. How do you keep that belief anyway?

Consider the Law of Gender, which is one of the seven universal laws. This law states that there’s a gestation period for everything.

For most physical things, we understand what the gestation period is, because it’s scientific. For example, we know that a baby takes nine months to develop after conception.

But with ideas, we don’t really know
how long something will take.

What we do know is…

Any image you consistently hold on the screen of your mind MUST manifest into physical form in your life…period. There’s no ifs, ands, or buts about it. It’s an absolute.

This requires you to believe something beyond the idea of chance, luck, or, “This can’t happen for me.” You must hold a higher belief for yourself.

Also, you have to “condition” your desire. Don’t take your desire for granted. It doesn’t just automatically stay there. It can go up and down. It can experience trauma, in a way.

Things can go haywire in our life, and we can forget about our desire. Or we might make a mistake and have to focus on fixing it instead of our desire.

We have to take care of our desire, as if it were a small child.

It needs a lot of attention. It needs to be fueled, acknowledged. You need to make sure it stays up in front of you every day.

You can verbalize or write down the “why” behind what you’re doing, and what you truly want—so that you’re consistently reminding yourself:

“This is why I’m going after the thing that I want. This is why I’m working, making sacrifices, changing, learning, growing.”

You have to keep it up in front of you.

Keep it focused on the screen of your mind.

Then from there, it’s just about discipline, which in its Latin root, means “the disciple of.” Discipline comes from the root of the word, “student.” Understand that everything is about learning and growing.

What Happens After We Die?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

Hi David,

I’ve always wanted spirituality in my life. I’ve had exposure to some spiritual ideas, but I don’t fully understand it. In all of your studies, have you formed an opinion about what happens when we die? Have you read any books that “clicked” around this idea for you?

Neagle Code Answer

Yes, I have an opinion. First, let me ask: why are you asking this question? Understanding why you’re asking will determine what answers you’re looking for.

Do you want the truth? Or do you want a “feel-good” story? If you want to know the truth, you’ll find it. If you want something else—a resurrection story, a Santa Claus story, a bunny story—you’ll find those, because they’re all there.

What’s interesting is that we have the ability to ask this question. If we can ask, then we can also find the answer.

I believe that before we were born, our energy was already here. It was present, and we had a purpose before we came into this body. (What we were doing, or in what form that energy was in—I don’t know.)

When we’re born, we come into this body as a form of energy. When we die, we move out of this body, but the energy never goes away. Energy is neither created or destroyed; it just is.

It transforms from one thing to another.

My opinion is that when you die, you transform to the next stage of your growth in your journey of being energy and a soul. What that looks like, I can’t tell you.

I work with some very credible people who’d say, “What you do and what you accumulate doesn’t matter. What you learn, who you become, and the awareness you gain in this lifetime is what matters—all of that goes with you forever onto your next journey. Based on everything we currently know, I believe that’s 100% true.

What helped me form this opinion was asking, “What’s the starting point for a human being?” For most people, the starting point is that they’re a victim. Almost everyone is given a victim story from the moment they’re born. If that’s true…then what? Where do you go from there?

If I come into life believing I’m a victim, that hurts everyone around me, because I’ll spread my victim belief to everyone else. The shadow side of being a victim is being a perpetrator. So I keep that cycle going. That cycle does not fit God’s modus operandi—which is “more life.”

Coming into life as a victim does not fit the universal laws.

It became apparent to me that before we came into this body, we must have chosen to do so. Believing we chose to come here—and that we’re responsible for our life—sets everyone free. It fits the universal laws.

I’d recommend reading the Conversations With God trilogy. Try to be completely open to it as you read it. If you don’t want to know the truth, you’ll be shut off to anything that comes in. It will become the perfect reason NOT to find the truth.

Just Like Gravity

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

Dear David,

What do you mean when you say that the Laws are always working? Don’t we have to work the Laws?

Thanks so much!

Neagle Code Answer

I’d be happy to answer that question!

You’re operating under the Laws of the Universe whether you’re conscious of them or not.

You can’t manifest anything in this world without application of every one of the Laws. And you’re manifesting every second of every day….all the good and all the bad.

That’s why they’re called the Laws of the Universe.

Nothing escapes them.

Consider the Law of Gravity. Anything that is heavier than air is pulled toward the center of the earth.

It does not matter if you’re a scientist and you understand exactly how gravity works, or if you’re completely ignorant of it.

If you fall, you’re still going down, because we’re all subject to that law.

It’s the same with the seven Laws of the Universe.

They are absolute.

And they make no exception for ignorance.

If you’re not aware of the Law of Gravity and you walk off the end of a building, a great big hand is not going to come out of the sky and grab you because you didn’t know you would fall.

Similarly, the Laws of the Universe don’t change just because you weren’t aware of them or because you had a good intention.

You’re either working WITH the Law or you’re working AGAINST the Law.

And you can tell by your results which is the case.

Either way the Laws are ALWAYS working!

I’m hosting a 2 Hour FREE workshop this Tuesday at 3pm ET. During that workshop I’m going to be sharing EXACTLY how you can work with the Laws to achieve business growth. I’m going to be applying the Laws specifically to your business and money making. CLICK HERE for all the info and mark your calendar to join me!!

Without faith there is no vision

Without faith there is no vision

Often when I teach, I refer to writings from different authors and religions that I’ve studied over the years.

Whenever I do that, I always ask that if I’m quoting something that’s not based on your particular religion — or which doesn’t reflect your understanding of God — then I encourage you to replace whatever terminology I’m using with words you’re comfortable with.

For example, if I say the word “God” and you don’t like that term…replace it with “spirit,” “universe,” “energy,” “the divine,” or whatever word you prefer.

The idea is not for us get blocked or hung up over a particular word…because that prevents us from understanding the deep truth of something.

Instead we need to figure out a way to allow ourselves to hear the higher truth of something — even if the words aren’t what we prefer.

It doesn’t matter to me what religion a person practices, or doesn’t practice.

My intention is to teach people to use universal truths in order to make their life exactly how they want it to be, and to help them fulfill their purpose.

Having said that…here’s a quote I want to share from Proverbs 29:18:

”Where there is no vision, the people will perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”

“Vision” means an image you hold in your mind of something you want to create or experience.

“The law” means “universal truths.” (Some people refer to this as “God’s law” or “God’s word.” Again, use whatever terminology you’re comfortable with.)

Without faith (in the laws or universal truths or “God’s word”), you cannot have future visions for yourself.

Without faith, you’ll only have the same vision you’ve previously had (usually a vision that was given to you by someone else)…and which you’ve been following all your life.

When you create a new vision for yourself, you must have faith in it…or it won’t come to fruition.

Faith gives you a vision beyond what you’re currently experiencing.

It lets you believe in something that doesn’t exist yet (i.e, the vision or goal).

In order to go from where you are now…to somewhere that’s absolutely extraordinary…you’ll have to overcome any fear that goes along with that (including any procrastination or complacency).

This requires a different kind of faith — a faith based in deep understanding of universal truths.

Without faith, success is impossible.

More life…even when it doesn’t feel like it…

More life…even when it doesn’t feel like it…

If everything is an uphill battle all the time, what’s something you can do right now to stop making things hard?

When I first started studying the universal laws, I had to learn just like everybody else does. One of the most difficult things to do is to learn to follow Spirit or to follow the universe.

The first thing is to understand that the universe is perfect all the time.

We have a saying in our company: “God is good all the time.” You could also say, “The universe is perfect all the time.” Use whatever language you prefer.

What we mean by this, is that the universe is always for good. It’s always for more life.

That means the exact thing you need is always right in front of you…whether you can actually see it or not.

What I suggest to people is to do the one thing that’s directly in front of you right now.

What is the one thing in front of you that’s pointing you in the direction of where you want to go?

Don’t even think about it. Just do it.

Step in with faith, believing that thing will take you in the direction you want to go.

The universe is never wrong. We’re the only ones that create confusion in our own mind.

The problem is that the universe always sends us the answer, and then we start thinking about it.

“Should I? Shouldn’t I? Do I have the money? Don’t I have the money? Do I have the time? Don’t I have the time? Do I want to commit? Don’t I want to commit?”

The moment we start thinking about it, we start going back into the value system that keeps us stuck, creates the congestion, and keeps everything from NOT flowing.

It’s not the universe that’s doing that. WE are doing that.

Do the one thing that’s right in front of you…and don’t even think about it.

My mentor used to say, “Don’t even look sideways. Just make the decision and move forward in that direction.”

If you keep doing that, your success is assured. It will come. It will show up, and it will show up right on time. No question about it.

Another word for faith

Another word for faith

There was a short time in my life when I was on food stamps. I had a couple of small kids. It was not a proud moment for me.

The problem was, I was in constant resentment of the situation I was in. I wanted to change, but didn’t know how.

Now, you don’t have to be on food stamps to be in constant resentment.

When you have a desire — when you want something different in your life, and you’re doing the best you think you can do, and nothing is changing — it is so easy for a person to go into resentment.

They start saying, “Why isn’t anything working? Why is this happening to me? Why can’t I be successful?”

Resentment changes your vibration. It begins to change how you see things. Then all you see are more things to be resentful for.

If you truly want to change this…then you have to start “expecting” your desire to show up in your life.

In his book Working with the Law, Raymond Holliwell says, “True desire represents that urge of life seeking a fuller expression, and it’s kept alive by the continuous expectation of its fulfillment.”

In order to receive what we desire, we have to “continuously expect” that it will happen. We need to have faith that it will happen.

Another word for this
faith is gratitude.

When you continuously expect something…you’re building faith that it will happen.

This expectation “brings to us the ways and the means for its manifestation,” says Holliwell.

Whatever you’re “expecting” (good or bad) is also what you’re in harmony with…according to the Law of Vibration.

If you want to change what you’re in harmony with — then you need to start expressing gratitude for the things you desire…as if they were already here.

This keeps your senses open
and changes your perception.

Remember, the law of polarity says that the thing you desire is already here. You just can’t see it or hear it.

But as you increase your faith in this law, you will begin change your belief, and you’ll begin to see opportunities that you could not see before.

This hit me like a punch in the stomach

This hit me like a
punch in the stomach

The first business I built didn’t go well. I wasn’t doing “bad,” but it wasn’t great, either. So I sought out advice from someone who was successful in the areas I wanted to succeed at.

This person listened quietly…as I told him everything that was going wrong in my business.
I complained.
I engaged in self-pity.

He looked me right in the eye and said,

“I know what your problem is…
you don’t want this bad enough.”

His words hit me like a punch in the stomach. It was hard to hear.

What I learned from that incident was I’d been spending so much time thinking about what I was doing, but I was not changing my thinking through acting.

Thinking by itself does not cause a person to be successful. You must take the actions that will cause you to be successful.

Whatever your desire is, you must take accurate ACTION in order to make it happen.

You must act your way into a new way of thinking…not think your way into a new way of acting.

Today, my company is known for helping people grow their business. We give them a strategy that will give them the results they want immediately. We help them build that foundation from a solid place.

However, this does not change their thinking. It’s not the “thinking” that makes the strategy work. It’s taking the action that makes it work.

Most people approach it by saying, “I have to change my thinking first…before I can take any action…”

They let fear stop them, and they don’t take action on their desire. They’re too busy THINKING about what they’re doing (or not doing)…instead of taking the action.

I recognized early on in my career that people want results quickly. I became known for helping them do this.

But it’s done by acting your way into a new way of thinking…not by thinking your way into a new way of acting.

What action can you take today to move you in the direction of your desire?

Are you seeing only one side?

Are you seeing
only one side?

If you’ve been following me at all this month you know that my focus has been on The Universal Laws. To be more specific, I’ve focused on the Universal Law of Polarity.

You see, most people live in judgment and one-sided beliefs that cause polarization of the Law of Polarity, meaning that if we don’t change or learn anything different, we go through our entire lives only seeing half of what life has to offer.

The half that we see is really based on how we’re programmed as a child.

This programming tells us how to behave, how to act, and how to perceive everything that is taking place in our world.

This is where this Law of Polarity allows change to actually start to take place.

The Law of Polarity states that everything has an opposite, and it’s equal and opposite. You can’t have a right without a left, an up without a down, an in without an out or a top without a bottom. You can’t have just one side of a thing. The opposite side must also exist and exist in the exact same place.

You cannot have a desire without the means for that desire already present.

I had absolutely no idea that the opportunity for me to go from $20,000 a year to $62,000 a year was around my physical being for at least two years before I became aware of it.

But once I became aware of it, it happened instantaneously, in a matter of 30 days.

And here’s the truth of what changed things for me:

In order for us to see the whole that is around us,
we must become whole.

I’ve been telling people this for years. It is really about who we become that allows us to have the change in our life that we so desire.

If we allow ourselves to become whole, then we’re able to change our awareness around what it is that we can perceive in our life.

When we change that perception, we can do something different.

We need to heal the stories within ourselves that contain half-truths, victimizations, pain, anger, shame, guilt and anything else that polarizes the mind and our thinking, including but not limited to superstitions, fairytales and, this is a big one, the addiction-like need to feel special.

Why? Because most times the opportunity we seek comes in the form of misfortune or defeat, and because of our stories, we brush them aside, run from them, or create lists in our minds of why we can’t say yes.

So let me ask you, what is in your life right now that you are saying no to, that you should be saying YES to?

Until next time…

Are you an Icarus or a Wright Brother?

Are you an Icarus or
a Wright Brother?

When I started studying the Universal Laws, I literally threw myself into them to see what it would be like to actually apply them day-to-day.

In truth, it was a test to see if they really work. Is there an absolute truth in the universe that will bring about the things that we want if we learn how to apply its laws?

The answer is a resounding yes.

If you understand the Laws, no matter what industry you’re in, you can use them to become prosperous and, even, change the course of history.

Of course, the salient question is what your understanding of the Laws can do for you.

And the answer is everything, because you’re operating under the Laws of the Universe whether you’re conscious of them or not.

You can’t manifest anything in this world without application of every one of the Laws.

That’s why they’re called the Laws of the Universe. Nothing escapes them.

Similarly, the Laws of the Universe don’t change just because you weren’t aware of them or because you had a good intention.

You’re either following the Law or you’re not following the Law. And you can tell by your results, which is the case.

So rather than flying too close to the sun in wax wings, like Icarus, I say it’s far better to work within the Laws, like the Wright Brothers, and build a vehicle that can fly, which is why, this month I’m going to be focusing on teaching you a Law that changed everything for me…The Law of Polarity.

Be on the look out…every Wednesday I’ll be going deep into this Law to help you see the gifts and opportunities that are around you right now.

Until Then…

Do you have rate guilt?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from Brandi T.

Neagle Code Question

Hi David,

I am a massage therapist and have a lot of guilt around asking for what I really want to charge clients. I was raised with the paradigm of: It is wrong to charge a man dying of thirst $100 for a glass of water and wrong to deny a starving man food, particularly if I have more than enough, so I’m having a hard time justifying selling a service that people of all income levels need, but which most people truly cannot afford. I know I’m not thinking about this accurately, but I’m still stuck in it. HELP!

Neagle Code Answer

Hi Brandi!

I know a lot of small business owners who struggle with this same concept.

First of all, I don’t quite think your comparison makes a whole lot of sense. Charging a dying man $100.00 for a glass of water doesn’t really compare with charging your fees.

Here’s the deal…it is not your responsibility to save the world.

If it were, you’d be the only massage therapist in the world.

The truth is that you’re looking at this all wrong.

The LAW states that if someone has a strong enough desire for something, the money MUST be there. What you’re talking about is no different.

And your responsibility is for yourself only (and any dependent children, of course).

Here’s how I suggest you look at your fees.

Your fees MUST be set on your personal financial goals AND the value of the service that you offer. The value of what you offer must exceed the fees that you’re charging.

The people who have the ability or willingness to pay you, WILL

And those who do not will find someone else to help them.

It’s a win-win situation. You get to work with the people who you really enjoy working with, and people who aren’t willing to pay your fees will pay someone else to work with them.

More life to all.
