Get out of my brain!

Did you know that the conscious mind and the subconscious mind are two very different things?

Both interact with your body in different way, and they impact your actions in different ways as well.

Let me explain…

Our conscious mind has the ability to choose and reason. It’s where our free will lies. Anything that comes into our conscious awareness, we can choose to accept or reject.

The subconscious mind, however, is very different. Anything that goes into the subconscious mind sticks. It stays there. It becomes fixed there. The subconscious mind has no ability to reject anything. When an idea gets fixed there, the only thing it can do is express itself through your physical body — through feelings and actions.

…That’s why it’s a good idea to make sure you’re monitoring what you’re allowing into your subconscious mind!

If you’re not paying attention, negative and unsupportive ideas can easily slip in and negatively affect your results.

In a simple conversation, someone else’s negative idea can slip in and start to affect your thinking and behaviors — if you don’t consciously reject the idea.

Here’s the good news…

We don’t have to
automatically accept the
things we hear.

You can simply say, “No, that’s not for me. I’m choosing something better.”

Or if you’re in conversation, you can simple say, “I understand that’s your perception or experience, but I don’t agree.”

Remember, the conscious mind has the power to accept or reject any thought.

The subconscious mind has no choice but to act upon whatever is given to it.

So always be conscientious of what’s being placed into your subconscious mind.
