Stirs your soul

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

David,

When people ask me what I want, I find myself stumbling with the answer to that question as if I might answer it wrong. However, I do know a few things… I know I want a bigger home. I know I want to be debt free. I know I want to travel and give my kids some amazing experiences, but I can’t seem to bring in the money I think I need to have and do all those things. So part of me wonders why, if I’ve wanted these things for so long, haven’t they happened yet? Can you help me understand what’s going on here?

Neagle Code Answer

Sure! Let’s do a quick check in 3 different areas that affect your ability to manifest what you want.

Any time that you’re choosing something that you want in life, whether you’re writing affirmations, a mission statement, creating a vision board, setting goals or intentions, you need to get a very clear idea of what it is that you want, and write it down in the present tense, as though you already have it.

For example, “I want to buy a beautiful house in the country” becomes “I am buying a beautiful house in the country.”

Once your thought is clear, you need to make sure that your emotions are as well.

Look at your written goal or desire and ask yourself, “Do I believe that I can get or have that thing I want?”

If your desire is more of a fairy tale that you would love to have, but don’t really believe you’re going to get, you need to throw that paper away and start again with, “What do I really believe I can get?”

If you don’t believe you can have what you want, Spirit doesn’t believe it either.

And since Spirit works deductively, it can only send back to you in manifest form what you actually believe.

And finally, look at the goal you wrote down and ask yourself: “Is this just something that I think I can accomplish, or is it something that I really want? Does it stir my soul and inspire me?”

When I first started doing goal setting for myself, I made the mistake that most people do. I started picking things that I thought I could accomplish, which was really based out of past experience and not what I really wanted in my heart, not something that excited me or gave me any kind of vision for my future.

Therefore nothing changed. The energy behind the picture was of the past, so nothing changed.

As you can see, there’s a very delicate balance that must take place in order for you to work what most people would consider miracles into your life.

Your desire can’t be too much in your past, and it can’t be too far into your future either. It needs to help you grow while remaining within your belief system.

Goal Shaming

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

David,

I recently made the mistake of confiding in a good friend about a decision I’d made. I can clearly see how this decision will bring me closer to what I want in life, and I was excited about it. When I told my friend, she laughed at me. It made me feel small and when I left to go home, I felt myself literally shrinking. I’ve been struggling to regain my confidence ever since. I feel really stuck. Any words of advice?

Neagle Code Answer

First let me just say…I know how you feel. I remember confiding in a relative about my decision to go to one of my first seminars. I came back and the first thing he said to me was, “So, are you a millionaire yet?” And laughed. This was someone I looked up to!

Here is what you need to understand…every opportunity that comes into your life offers you a choice: to become more of yourself or to become less.

You either grow into the opportunity or you let it beat you down.

This is true of every opportunity, whether on its face it seems positive or negative.

If you let an opportunity beat you down, you likely fall into a victim mentality, a wounded mentality, and/or an entitled mentality. (Right now, you’re in wounded mentality)

And then the Law of Perpetual Transmutation and its subsidiary, the Reciprocating Law of Spirit, receive that message and send it back to you in kind, so you end up with problems in your life that you don’t want.

However, don’t despair, because you always have the opportunity, through the power of choice, to change your negative circumstances.

Think for a moment about choice.

You can choose to respond to your friend’s comments by second-guessing your decision and staying small or you can let her laughter propel you forward.

The key here is that
YOU have that CHOICE.

That’s because by changing how you’re responding to your circumstances, you are changing the message you are sending to Spirit, as well as changing the choices you’ll make in the future. Therefore, the opportunities that manifest in your life will change as well. It is Law.

I mean let’s be honest…if I had let my relative’s laughter stop me, you wouldn’t be reading this post right now.

Why your mess is opportunity in disguise

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

David,

I’m a bit embarrassed to admit this, but I’ve made some bad decisions. Without going into too much detail, I’m now in a place where I can’t pay all my bills this month. I am doing everything I can to think differently about my situation, but I’m just not seeing how I can turn this around. Any idea how I can dig my way out of the mess I created?

Neagle Code Answer

First off, don’t be embarrassed…that shame just keeps you stuck in the patterns.

Second, realize the power of the Universal Law of Choice I mentioned in a previous blog post.

The amazing thing about choice is that it also gives you the chance to change the consequences of your past poor actions or decisions.

For instance, if you go broke and bill collectors are calling, you can’t change those facts in the moment.

But you can change how you respond to those circumstances and what you choose in the future. You can renegotiate your terms and learn from your mistakes for instance.

So while it’s true that, in response to your message, bags of money won’t suddenly fall in your lap, bags of opportunity will show up in your life.

In the long run, this is far better for you, your business, and your personal and spiritual development.

So the question is:

Will you accept
the opportunity?

Always remember the sly disguises of opportunity. They will sometimes show up as temporary misfortune or defeat.

Will you accept the manifestation of the message that you sent to Spirit?

Or will you say, no thanks; It’s too much trouble; I’m not good enough; then look around and wonder why things never work out for you?

Will you be a victim? Or will you be the hero of your own story?

As always, that is entirely your choice.

Opportunity Answers Intention

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

David,

Admittedly I’m a little new to Universal law, but it seems a little simplistic to me that all I have to do to get what I want is to align my head, heart and actions, as if bags of money will fall in my lap if only I can be in alignment. Is that what you are suggesting in the answer to your one of your previous blog posts?

Thanks David!

Neagle Code Answer

Hi and thanks for the question!

As I said in my previous answer, when you send a signal, whether clear or not, Spirit reciprocates that message back into your life exactly as it receives it. Clear messages manifest according to what you want; confused or mixed messages not so much.

Now, you have to understand how that message is manifested in your life. This is an area where people get really confused, and I think it answers the main question you’re asking.

Spirit can only reciprocate your message in the form of opportunity.

Why is that? Why can’t bags of money just fall into your lap?

The great gift of the Law of Choice is that we choose everything that comes into our life. This means that no one can put anything into your life. You choose it all.

The flip side is that we are required to choose everything that comes into our life.

And opportunity gives you the imperative to do just that.

For example, if you’ve sent a clear request to Spirit for more money, and that money fell in your lap, there’s not much choice involved in gathering it up. You don’t grow as a human being or serve a broader purpose.

But if you get to talking to the person next to you in line and find out that she needs exactly what you do, your clear wish for more money has reciprocated in the form of an opportunity, in this case, a hot prospect.

You then exercise your choice by either following up and getting a new client, which improves both of your lives, or you squander the opportunity.

Make sense?

Clear mind, healthy intentions

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

David,

I seriously feel like you were speaking to me directly when you answered someone’s question about “intentions”. I set intentions ALL THE TIME, and I’m constantly let down. So now I know I must have two intentions being sent out into the universe… one that’s wounded and one that’s an actual desire.

My question is: How the heck do I change this, so that I actually can set an intention and receive what I’m intending?

Thanks a bunch!

Neagle Code Answer

Hi! I can tell this is a frustration for you for sure! Let me see if I can help.

Part of the problem is that when you continuously experience the disappointing results, you then compound the problem by making these results your truth or reality.

You most likely say, “Things never work out for me.” “I don’t even know why I try.” “The deck is stacked against people like me.”

If someone tries to help you, you may even fight to the death proclaiming, “But these are my results.” “This is my truth.” “This is my reality.”

By doing so, you reinforce the confusion within yourself and re-communicate the same message to Spirit.

Thus, your so-called reality becomes a vicious, perpetuating cycle.

What’s the answer?

In order to have the Law of Perpetual Transmutation work in your favor you must align your head, heart and action (including your language) so that you’re sending a clear signal to Spirit.

I know this is easier said than done, but still it must be done.

Confront your habits of thought and correct your thinking.

Understand your emotions and heal your wounds.

Speak ONLY what you desire, and take actions that are in harmony with your clear mind and healthy emotions.

When you send Spirit a clear message, Spirit reciprocates that message back into your life with a matching result.

Unhealthy Intentions

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

Hi David,

Can you explain what intention means? I’ve heard a lot of coaches talk about intention, decision and commitment, and it seems it’s used interchangeably all the time. What’s the truth behind intention, so I can be sure and use it correctly with my own clients?

Thanks a bunch!

Neagle Code Answer

Hi! Great question!

The Laws make no exceptions for intentions like most people believe.

Now, you’re correct, intention is a big word that’s being used all over the place—largely incorrectly.

A person will say, “I did the wrong thing,” “I made a mistake,” or “I didn’t get it right, but my intention was good.”

What they’re really saying is,

“My want or desire was
different than what I received.”

Or someone will focus hard on a particular result, calling it their “intention,” and then are baffled when they don’t get what they want.

Here’s the bottom line: If your intention is correct or healthy, you will fall correctly within the Law of Perpetual Transmutation and get the thing that you want.

Every time.

If your intention is incorrect or unhealthy, you will get a result, but it won’t be what you thought you were asking for.

This is because

Intention comes
from the heart.

If you have a wounded heart, psychologically or emotionally, you are communicating two polar opposite so-called “intentions” at the same time.

Let me explain…

One intention is coming from the wound that has not been healed, and the other is coming from your genuine desire.

That’s a very confused message you’re sending to Spirit.

Through the Reciprocating Law of Spirit the result will match the message.

It will be confusion, chaos, playing small, a failing or disappointing business, debt, lack, and so on.

Giving, Taking, and The Law of More Life

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from Mariya V.

Neagle Code Question

Hi David,

In a previous blog I saw you mention The Law of More Life and how it pertains to struggle in our life. Can you explain this a little more in-depth. I think I’m finally beginning to understand, and I’d love a little more info on this Law.

Neagle Code Answer

I’d be happy to Mariya!

The Law of More Life states that any being or anything that does not add to another’s life or to life as a whole is reduced to its basic form.

We see this in nature when the seasons change. During the summertime leaves are providing a vital resource to our planet by turning carbon dioxide into oxygen on a continuous basis.

When the weather starts to cool and the days shorten, the trees begin to go dormant, and that leaf can no longer perform that function, so it crumbles, dies and falls to the ground, where its decomposition becomes part of the process all over again by revitalizing the soil.

Human beings
do not escape this law.

If we don’t add to the life of others, and to life itself, we’re actually taking from life, and we will be broken down as well.

This can be as natural as when an elderly person at the end of a good life dies in her sleep.

Well-meaning people can fall into disharmony with this law as well.

They have confusion in their life. They may have lack, debt, broken relationships.

Tenuous situations like those strike at a person’s inner core of safety and security, and without meaning harm to anyone, they can start to come from a “getting” or “taking” place.

So, rather than adding to the lives of the people around them, they start taking from those lives, and they become subject to The Law of More Life.

Hope that helps!!

Paying your dues?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

Hi David,

EVERYTHING. I worry, I feel fear, and my successes only come after working myself to the bone. A friend of mine told me that it was because I have to pay my dues and earn my way to success. Do you agree with this?

Thanks so much!

Neagle Code Answer

Many people seem to think that suffering and struggle are a natural part of life.

They say to themselves, “I just have to pay my dues.” Or, “Maybe I’m supposed to go through this struggle.”

Let me say this plainly: You are not supposed to struggle or suffer.

Just look at nature…

Nothing in nature
struggles.

You don’t see squirrels sitting on a fence worrying about where their next nut is going to come from, or an oak tree telling another oak tree it’s afraid to be seen.

Struggle is an indication.

It’s actually a result that is showing you that you are out of harmony with the Universal Laws, quite likely The Law of More Life and the Reciprocating Law of Spirit.

As I’ve said previously, when people send Spirit a mixed message, through The Reciprocating Law of Spirit, they receive a manifestation of that message exactly as it is.

And over time, they fall into a place of “getting or taking”, which is not in harmony with the Law of More Life.

Which simply means: If we don’t add to the life of others, and to life itself, we’re actually taking from life, and we will be broken down as well.

Take a good long look at what you may be resisting doing or being, the resistance is most likely what’s causing the struggle.

Why doesn’t Spirit give us what we really want?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

Hi David,

First, I have to admit I’m new to all this “Universal Law Spiritual Stuff”, but most of it makes sense. Here’s where I have a bit of a hiccup:

I’ve heard you teach that God is a loving God, and that the main Law that runs through everything is more life. Oh, and also, that God wants more than we want for ourselves.

So why doesn’t Spirit then give us what we really want, rather than the manifestation of the message we’re communicating? That seems MUCH more loving to me…

Thanks so much!

Neagle Code Answer

Ah, yes…I love this question…

The problem is, we were given the power to choose.

In fact, the power to choose is the greatest power that we have.

If Spirit intervened in our choices, we would not have that power.

We would be like children, not the adults we are.

So rather than railing against the Universe for “giving” you debt and bad relationships, exercise your power to choose something different.

Become aware of, and take responsibility for, the messages you’re conveying, and then do the work to align your desires, emotions, and actions, so that you are sending a clear message to Spirit for the thing you truly want.

If you succeed in doing that, as you follow the other Laws of the Universe, Spirit will give it back to you in physical form like I explained last week.

And you can have the abundant lifestyle you desire.

Sending Mixed Signals?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

Dear David,

I know I’m inherently a good person. I’m giving. I don’t take away the rights of others, and I feel like I’m doing what I’ve been put here to do. All that being said, I don’t understand why Spirit keeps giving me results I don’t want. I feel like Spirit has a different plan for me…Could this be?

Thanks so much!

Neagle Code Answer

Fantastic question!

The reason is likely due to a misunderstanding of The Reciprocating Law of Spirit. Now, don’t be daunted—this mouthful of a law is actually pretty easy to understand.

Reciprocal” means to give in return; therefore, this law explains the fact that Spirit gives you the manifestation of the message that you give it.

It also means that you can have virtually anything you want.

You give your message to Spirit. Spirit gives it back to you (via The Law of Perpetual Transmutation) in physical form. That’s actually great news; however, most people don’t understand that Spirit works deductively.

That means Spirit doesn’t change what you choose.

So if you choose from a wounded psychological, emotional or physical place, Spirit will give you what you’ve chosen in physical form—whether you consciously want it or not.

For instance, let’s say you want a great income so that you can live an abundant lifestyle.

That’s your desire. But if your emotions or beliefs contradict your desire, you are sending a confused message to Spirit. Perhaps you don’t believe you’re worthy or smart enough, or you’re afraid of surpassing your parents.

Given this scenario, it’s surely the case that your actions will only muddy the message. You’ll take some actions toward creating the income you want, but you’ll also sabotage yourself on a regular basis in any number of ways, such as not following up on opportunities or procrastinating.

What does Spirit do with this mixed message?

It turns it back over exactly as it receives it.
