When you get a surprise tax bill…

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

Hi David,

I’m a consultant and have been in business for about 5 years, and have steadily grown (at an admittedly slow pace). I guess you could say my growth has been incremental rather than a quantum leap.

Well this year I messed up, and I have been “slapped” with a 5-figure tax bill, and I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I was a little freaked out about how I’m going to pay my taxes and my own expenses.

Any suggestions on how to become aware of how to create a pretty big influx of cash quickly?

Neagle Code Answer

You know…I’ve had this question several times in the last couple of months, and there IS a solution!

When I was new in business I too experienced a similar situation, and needed to create a pretty big cash injection in a REALLY short time frame.

Here’s what you need to remember:

Based on the Law of Polarity, if you have a definite need, then the way to satisfy that need must also be present.

So the first thing you need to understand is that your situation is not without a solution. In fact, the solution is most likely very close to you.

From an energetic perspective you must DEMAND that the solution be shown to you. This may seem crazy, but when I need to see a solution, I will stomp around my office and demand at the top of my lungs to be shown the opportunity needed to solve my problem.

It MUST be there.

Second, you need to remain open to opportunity, and let me tell you, the opportunity to solve your problem may not seem appealing to you. In fact it may require that you re-examine something or do something you’ve been resisting for quite some time.

In other words, the solution will most likely be uncomfortable.

Once the opportunity is identified, you’ll need to sell. Whether you’re selling your services or you’re selling someone else on an idea or solution, you’ll need to influence someone to do something.

Sounds simple, I know…and it is if you’re armed with the right tool, which is why on Tuesday, I’ll be hosting a FREE training titled: 6-Figure Sales Secret. During this training I’ll actually share my experience in creating the solution to the very same problem you’re looking to solve…HOW to create a large cash injection in a short amount of time. 1. I love this Law of Polarity you’ve been talking about! Your recent podcast “Show Me The Money” was very illuminating to me. Thanks so much!!

Very interesting about demanding and stomping around your office and shouting. That image triggers an association in my mind of being an expression of powerlessness and entitlement. Obviously that’s not what you’re expressing for it to for so well for you. So to better understand the energy of what you’re saying (reflecting back on Tony Robbins talking about what he does with his physiology to what he calls “get in state”) what state are you getting into with that (I’m assuming that’s what it’s about)?

    • It’s not just the demanding and stomping Patrick, it’s taking the necessary action and not being denied. I wasn’t going to stop, so engaging my body helped me maintain focus and send the message to the Universe that the sales were there, they were there now, and that I was going to show up and be of the highest of service to everyone I spoke with. No entitlement or powerlessness at play here, simply doing what I had to do to provide for my family and create the life of my dreams. To answer your question, the “state” was complete and total abundance, and not being afraid of hearing no. You’ll hear more no’s than yes’s. Get over it and leave them better than you found them, regardless if you make the sale or not.

  2. Hey David,
Great article! I am getting better at bringing in money through your teachings! I would ask, if you would recommend multiple sources of income in varies industries? currently I am a self employed music instructor, but I also have other things I enjoy doing and could bring in a good income on the side, (they have nothing to do with music or the music business), would you recommend I solely focus on expanding my revenue in the music business or is it okay to venture outside to multiple industries?

Thanks for any help you can offer!

    • Hey Jonathan! I am all about multiple streams of income; it’s just smart business. If you feel that one area is slipping due to focus being split, consider bringing in people to help oversee various arms. When you diversify like that you need people who can help you get to where you want to go. I have this with my amazing team, which allows me to focus on creating content and teaching materials while other streams get their just due. You may not think you are ready for that, but all it takes is a decision. Best of luck!
