Why can’t I pay off my credit card balance when I intend to?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

Dear David,

I have a question about paying for expenses. I hear you say that The Universe provides money based on what you need. Well I have a credit card balance of $7,000. Each month I intend to bring in the money to pay this off in full, but all The Universe brings me is the minimum payment which is due! So how do I work the laws of the universe to be able to pay the full amount? And yes, I really want to pay the full amount. I get interest fees each month on it, so that's another motivating factor for me to want to pay it all. I would love your guidance. Thanks!

Neagle Code Answer

Thanks for your question!

First I think it’s important to explain how the Universe provides. You see the Universe is completely deductive in nature. This means that it cannot provide to you anything that is not impressed upon it by you.

If month after month you’re not able to pay off that credit card debt, we need to look at the Law of Cause and Effect. This Law states that for every cause there is an effect. In simple terms this means that there’s something that you are not doing that is causing you to only be able to create the minimum due.

Really examine your actions. Are you doing EVERYTHING you can to bring in the money you need even if it means working late, making extra sales calls, and sacrificing time with your friends or family?

Look at where you stop.

Be honest with yourself and ask to be shown what you are resisting doing or being in order to be able to bring in the full $7,000.00. Once you see the resistance, take action immediately.

It is through accurate action that you impress your desire on The Universe so that it can provide what you desire.

  1. This is for everyone reading this who probably thinks “oh yeah, if it was only that simple…” I used to be someone who thougt that way too. And back in 2010 when I first met David I would get pretty annoyed with the advice to take a hard look at my actions and be honest with myself about where the actions and the stated intentions weren’t lining-up…and then take immediate action to get my actions in line with my stated goals, or be honest with myself that there was something about not achieving my stated goals that was serving me in some way. Back then, I was pretty close to broke. Today my life is much different. My business has been recognized by Inc Magazine as one of the 5,000 fastest growing companies in the country for two years running and I rarely have to “worry” about money problems anymore. And I can trace much of this transformation to the day, the moment really when I decided “he has a point” and stopped resisting the obvious conclusions of what David was pointing out to me about MY role in all of the problems that I was having. Even today, I STILL read David’s newsletters, attend his live events whenever my national business and speaking schedule permit and there’s really never been a time since 2010 when I haven’t returned to something David wrote or recorded to remind myself about the truth contained in his observations of how the universe really does work. I hope these words encourage you to take a hard look at how it may be serving you to not pay off that $7,000 and get that out in the open to make it easier to begin taking the necessary (and possible) actions to pay off that debt, if that’s what you really want to do.

    • Always great to hear from you RJon! Your journey and the growth you’ve experienced along the way has been amazing to watch and I am truly honored by your words. It started with a ‘yes’ for most of us, including me, and you sharing the moment when it clicked for you will inspire the next wave of entrepreneurs to emulate your achievements. Is it easy? Will success just come to me? Not without committed action and the constant practice of unwavering desire. You’ve proven that for yourself and there is no limit to what comes next. So appreciate the post!
