Is struggle necessary to succeed?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from Frank K.

Neagle Code Question

Hi David,

I must have hidden belief that my life has to be hard, because quite honestly I feel like I struggle for EVERYTHING. I worry, I feel fear, and my successes only come after working myself to the bone. A friend of mine told me that it was because I have to pay my dues and earn my way to success. Do you agree with this

Thanks so much!

Neagle Code Answer

Many people seem to think that suffering and struggle are a natural part of life.

They say to themselves, “I just have to pay my dues.” Or, “Maybe I’m supposed to go through this struggle.

Let me say this plainly: You are not supposed to struggle or suffer.

Just look at nature…nothing in nature struggles.

You don’t see squirrels sitting on a fence worrying about where their next nut is going to come from, or an oak tree telling another oak tree it’s afraid to be seen.

Struggle is an indication.

It’s actually a result that is showing you that you are out of harmony with the Universal Laws, quite likely The Law of More Life and the Reciprocating Law of Spirit.

As I told you last time, when people send Spirit a mixed message, through The Reciprocating Law of Spirit they receive a manifestation of that message exactly as it is.

And over time they fall into a place of “getting or taking”, which is not in harmony with the Law of More Life.

Which simply means: If we don’t add to the life of others, and to life itself, we’re actually taking from life, and we will be broken down as well.

Take a good long look at what you may be resisting doing or being, the resistance is most likely what’s causing the struggle.

Why doesn’t Spirit give us what we really want?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

Hi David,

First, I have to admit I’m new to all this “Universal Law Spiritual Stuff,” but most of it makes sense. Here’s where I have a bit of a hiccup:

I’ve heard you teach that God is a loving God and that the main Law that runs through everything is more life. Oh, and also, that God wants more than we want for ourselves.

So why doesn’t Spirit then give us what we really want, rather than the manifestation of the message we’re communicating? That seems MUCH more loving to me…

Thanks so much!

Neagle Code Answer

Ah, yes…I love this question…

The problem is, we were given the power to choose.

In fact, the power to choose is the greatest power that we have.

If Spirit intervened in our choices, we would not have that power.

We would be like children, not the adults we are.

So rather than railing against the Universe for “giving” you debt and bad relationships, exercise your power to choose something different.

Become aware of, and take responsibility for, the messages you’re conveying; and then do the work to align your desires, emotions, and actions, so that you’re sending a clear message to Spirit for the thing you truly want.

If you succeed in doing that, as you follow the other Laws of the Universe, Spirit will give it back to you in physical form like I explained last week.

And you can have the abundant lifestyle you desire.

I give. Why am I not receiving the results I want?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from Margit L.

Neagle Code Question

Dear David,

I know I’m inherently a good person. I am giving. I don’t take away the rights of others, and I feel like I’m doing what I’ve been put here to do. All that being said, I don’t understand why Spirit keeps giving me results I don’t want. I feel like Spirit has a different plan for me…Could this be?

Thanks so much!

Neagle Code Answer

Fantastic question!

The reason is likely due to a misunderstanding of The Reciprocating Law of Spirit. Now, don’t be daunted—this mouthful of a law is actually pretty easy to understand.

Reciprocal” means to give in return; therefore, this law explains the fact that Spirit gives you the manifestation of the message that you give it.

It also means that you can have virtually anything you want.

You give your message to Spirit. Spirit gives it back to you (via The Law of Perpetual Transmutation) in physical form. That’s actually great news; however, most people don’t understand that Spirit works deductively.

That means Spirit doesn’t change what you choose.

So if you choose from a wounded psychological, emotional or physical place, Spirit will give you what you’ve chosen in physical form—whether you consciously want it or not.

For instance, let’s say you want a great income so that you can live an abundant lifestyle.

That’s your desire. But if your emotions or beliefs contradict your desire, you’re sending a confused message to Spirit. Perhaps you don’t believe you’re worthy or smart enough, or you’re afraid of surpassing your parents.

Given this scenario, it’s surely the case that your actions will only muddy the message. You’ll take some actions toward creating the income you want, but you’ll also sabotage yourself on a regular basis in any number of ways, such as not following up on opportunities or procrastinating.

What does Spirit do with this mixed message?

It turns it back over exactly as it receives it.

What’s the difference between awareness and understanding?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from Dillon M.

Neagle Code Question

Dear David,

I’ve heard you talk about awareness and understanding. Can you explain the difference between the two? I’m confused.

Thanks so much!

Neagle Code Answer

Absolutely!

All knowledge that ever was or will be is present now and always has been.

This means that when we lived in caves, the knowledge for creating the iPhone, the computer, the space shuttle and everything else that has been formed by human hands was there.

Likewise, the knowledge to invent things that will exist in the future is here right now as well.

What didn’t exist then, and doesn’t exist now for future inventions, is our awareness of that knowledge.

Awareness means we perceive the fact of something.

When we became aware of the knowledge related to creating the wheel, for instance, we were able to bring that into form.

Now, understanding is a different thing altogether.

Understanding involves comprehension, perspective, context and wisdom.

For instance, our ancestors gained awareness of the knowledge required to create the wheel, but they surely lacked the understanding of how that invention would revolutionize their way of life.

We lack understanding as well.

We lack understanding of the impact of our inventions, but more to the point, we lack the understanding of the Laws of the Universe.

Can you show me how the Laws are always working?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

Dear David,

It’s clear that you have a vast understanding of Universal Law… I think I understand the basic notion, but can you give an example of one of the Laws and how people manage to fudge it up?

I get that gravity is constant and is always working to pull things toward the center of the Earth, and we work within that law by creating parachutes or railings. I can see gravity at work, but don’t think I can see the Laws at work.

Thanks so much!

Neagle Code Answer

Fantastic question!!!

I think I’ll use the Law of Perpetual Transmutation as an example in this explanation.

The Law of Perpetual Transmutation states that everything in the Universe is constantly moving from non-form to form and back to non-form again.

We often call this non-form stuff of the Universe “energy.”

It is from this formless energy that we manifest our ideas, projects, programs, businesses, books, paintings—everything that we bring into existence.

If you understand this law and work within it correctly, it follows that you can harness that formless energy and create from it whatever forms you desire.

You may have heard it stated by James Allen as, “All that a man achieves and all that he fails to achieve is the direct result of his own thoughts.”

That’s the exciting promise of The Law of Perpetual Transmutation.

But it’s a promise that is rarely realized to its full potential because so many of us harbor mistaken notions that get in our way.

For example, I have noticed that people who fear the Devil often discount and distrust the stirrings of Spirit within them, which come in the form of desire, especially when Spirit is saying something different from what they’ve been taught.

So if you’re a woman who’s been taught that you don’t have much value, and you feel drawn to accomplish a powerful project, you’re likely to deny your desire, calling it pride or sin.

If, on the other hand, you listen to your desire, rather than questioning or denying or second-guessing its inspiration within you, you are much more likely to follow its direction where it leads.

You can fight Spirit and defy the Law of Perpetual Transmutation, or you can collaborate with them to fulfill your purpose and manifest your wildest dreams.

Why the Laws of the Universe are ALWAYS working

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from Braden M.

Neagle Code Question

Dear David,

In your last article you said that the Laws are ALWAYS working. Can you explain what you mean by that?

Thanks so much!

Neagle Code Answer

I’d be happy to answer that question, Braden!

You’re operating under the Laws of the Universe whether you’re conscious of them or not.

You can’t manifest anything in this world without application of every one of the Laws. And you’re manifesting every second of every day….all the good and all the bad.

That’s why they’re called the Laws of the Universe.

Nothing escapes them.

Consider the Law of Gravity. Anything that is heavier than air is pulled toward the center of the earth.

It does not matter if you’re a scientist and you understand exactly how gravity works or if you’re completely ignorant of it.

If you fall down, you’re still going down, because we’re all subject to that law.

It’s the same with the seven Laws of the Universe.

They are absolute.

And they make no exception for ignorance.

If you’re not aware of the Law of Gravity and you walk off the end of a building, a great big hand is not going to come out of the sky and grab you because you didn’t know you would fall.

Similarly, the Laws of the Universe don’t change just because you weren’t aware of them or because you had a good intention.

You’re either following the Law or you’re not following the Law.

And you can tell by your results, which is the case. But either way the Laws are ALWAYS working!

Why do I see so many coaches in debt?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

Dear David,

I’m noticing something and I wanted to get your thoughts on it. It seems like everywhere I turn there’s someone proclaiming to be a mindset coach, a wealth coach, a success coach or a manifestation coach. My problem with this is that after attending several seminars, those people who claim to be able to help others achieve their financial dreams, haven’t actually been able to achieve their own…and in fact they are in a great amount of debt. What is up with this? There seems to be an epidemic of broke coaches.

Neagle Code Answer

Hi, and thanks for your question.

A few years ago, I started noticing this trend as well. And the simple answer is:
Erroneous understanding of the Laws is largely why you’re seeing this.

People calling themselves coaches, trainers, gurus, with no understanding—or a very perverted understanding—of how the Laws of the Universe work, started teaching the Laws, teaching spirituality and prosperity.

And, as a result, they started bastardizing the Laws and doing more harm than good.

I’m not saying this stems from malicious intent.

The teachers usually believe what they’re teaching, but that teaching is filled with ignorance and very wounded ideas about how the Laws work, how Spirit works, how God and the Universe work.

This harmful teaching is creating mobs and mobs of people with the same lack of understanding, and lack of positive results, which is compounding the problem, creating destruction all over the place, and sending this industry into a downward spiral.

I can’t tell you how many times my team and I get questions about why the Laws don’t work for them.

That question in and of itself is a misunderstanding of the Laws. The Laws are ALWAYS working.

People are losing faith, losing hope, and they don’t understand how to turn this around.

My suggestion is to only work with people who have demonstrated through their results and testimonials that they truly have an understanding of the Laws. And when in doubt, turn to the truth for the answers.

Truth can be found in any of the books you’ve heard me mention over the years. A few good examples are:

The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles
Working with the Law by Raymond Holliwell
Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill
As A Man Thinketh by James Allen

These books go everywhere with me, and I’ve made it my life’s work to study the Laws and teach them in a way that can clearly be understood.

And if you’d like to jumpstart your understanding and begin to apply these Laws today, you can listen to my complimentary, two-part program,.

Thank you for the great question!

After an affair…how can I trust again?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

Dear David,

I recently found out that my husband of 16 years has been having an affair for quite some time. I’m having a hard time not feeling devastated. I understand that as you say, I am the center of my own universe, and I am the one that created that relationship, and I am happy to take responsibility. I am studying the laws and trying to pull my life together by working with the laws, but my question to you is – when I eventually meet another man, how will I know if I can him trust him? How can I use the laws to ensure that I don't waste any more of my life?

Neagle Code Answer

Hi, and thanks for your question.

The Law states that we attract what we are, not what we want.

So to use the Laws to ensure that you don’t waste any more of your life, you must get very clear with yourself as to why you would have attracted your husband and his subsequent actions.

If everyone in our life is a mirror for us, and no one is a victim, then we must take responsibility for everything in our lives and see the lessons as they are.

Cheaters cheat for only one reason.

They don’t have the courage to say what they want.

Is this also something you struggle with?

Do you have difficulty saying what you want, even if it means the loss of a relationship or judgment from those around you? Is there something you were lying to yourself about?

Once you have clarity around why you attracted the affair into your life, you must go to work on getting very clear about the person you’d like to meet.

You see, we are not taught how to attract a partner. Most relationships start with a physical attraction, and we fall in love, and most times, we fall in love with the wrong person.

To really make sure that you’re attracting an ideal relationship you must write out what qualities and values you’re looking for, and then you yourself must live those qualities and values.

Use that list as the authority in deciding if a relationship stays or goes, and it will help you find a relationship that will bring more life to you both.

My friend has a lack mentality. How do I respond?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

I was visiting with some friends who are very much in the lack mentality. For instance my friend prides herself on how she only buys her clothes on sale or at Goodwill because it saves her so much money or constantly is telling me how much she paid for something. I find myself either biting my tongue to share my new insights with her or judging her. She is a close friend and I don't get to see her often, but how do you respond to people who have different beliefs than you?

Neagle Code Answer

Thanks for the great question!

I know first hand that this is a question that many people struggle with.

The first rule of thumb is that you should always surround yourself with people who are of like mind and goals. There is some truth to the old saying; “You are a product of the five closest people in your lives”.

The second thing I’d like to point out is that if you’re not verbally disagreeing with your friend, her lack beliefs are seeping into your subconscious.

Have you ever spent time with them, and then suddenly found yourself slipping back into lack thoughts and decisions, not even realizing it until you caught yourself days later?

And the third point here is that your friends aren’t asking you to help them change, therefore, it’s not your place to “set them straight.” They have the right to believe whatever they want, and if it bothers you, it’s your responsibility to make the choice to accept them, or to limit your time with them.

Usually when I get this question, I ask, “How is the relationship serving you?” I think this is something you may want to take a look at.

You’ve probably heard the saying, “A relationship is for a reason, season or a lifetime.”

It may be time for you to spend less time with these dear friends, and focus on making new friendships that support your ideals and growth.

How do I find the right people for my team?

This week's question from my portal “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life” comes from someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neagle Code Question

How do I find the right people to hire for my team? I’m currently feeling incredibly frustrated with the process AND the people!

Neagle Code Answer

Thanks for the great question!

When doing ANY hiring, you always need to first start with yourself:

• Are you the right person to do the hiring? Be honest.
• Do you have a poor track record of turnover within your business?

Businesses lose money every time they have to fire and hire, so at times, it’s often less time consuming and more cost effective to turn to a professional to assist you in hiring.

They are skilled at not only knowing what questions to ask you to make sure you attract qualified people, but also what questions to ask the potential employee.

An outside service can be more objective and know how to “read between the lines” in an interview so that only qualified people who will match your culture make the cut.

If you feel like you are the person to do the hiring, sit down and make a list of all the qualities and skills you’re looking for in the “right” person.

Be specific. When hiring you want to be able to clearly explain both “duties” and expectations.

If you find that you are still having difficulty finding the right person to fill a role in the company, you may need to take a long hard look at why you are attracting the situation:

• Are you keeping yourself the bottleneck in your company so as to stay hidden or not have to take risks to grow?
• Do you have issues with trusting someone else to do a job that you know you can do well

Remember, everything starts with you, so the more clear and honest you can be with yourself and others, the easier that position will be to fill.
